Thank you for purchasing the Tracer Cutter 2 TRX shredder. Please read this manual carefully before using the device.
Safety Warnings
- ⚠️ Keep loose clothing, such as ties ?, jewelry ?, hair ?♀️, and other small objects away from the paper feed slot to avoid injuries.
- Turn off the shredder when not in use for an extended period.
- Remove paper clips ? and staples ?️ before shredding paper. While the shredder can cut through staples, it is not recommended.
- ✋ Do not place hands or fingers ? in the shredder slot—this can cause serious injury.
- Always turn off or unplug the shredder before moving, cleaning, or emptying the waste bin.
- Frequently empty the waste bin.

- Do not shred credit cards ?, CDs ?, DVDs, and paper at the same time.

Switch Functions
- ▶️ AUTO: The shredder is ready for use and will automatically start shredding when paper, CDs, or cards are inserted.
- ⏹️ OFF: The shredder is turned off.
- ↩️ REV: The shredder reverses paper to allow its removal.
Operating Instructions
- Place the shredder on a flat surface.
- Plug the device into a suitable power outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the device's requirements.
- Switch to the AUTO position to activate standby mode.
- Insert paper, CDs, or credit cards into the designated slot. Shredding will start automatically.
- After shredding, the device will return to standby mode.
- In case of paper jams, switch to the REV position to reverse the paper.
- Turn the device to OFF after use.
Operating Notes
- Maximum shredding capacity: 12 sheets of A4 paper (80 g/m²) at a time.
- Shred only one credit card ? or one CD/DVD ? at a time.
- Avoid inserting paper clips ?, adhesive tapes, or fabrics into the paper slot to prevent blade damage.
- Regularly empty the waste bin.
Maintenance – Oiling Instructions
To ensure proper operation of the device, follow the oiling procedure below and repeat it twice:
- Move the switch to the REV ↩️ position for 2–3 seconds.
- Apply oil to the input slot area.
- Set the switch to the OFF ⏹️ position.
Note: Regular lubrication of the cutting blades ensures smooth operation and extends the device's lifespan. It is recommended to oil the shredder every time the waste bin is emptied.
Troubleshooting
- Paper hangs at the output after shredding:
- Cause: Paper remnants are stuck between the blades.
- Solution: Switch to REV ↩️ and remove the remnants.
- Paper in the slot, but the shredder does not operate:
- Cause: Paper does not touch the sensor.
- Solution: Adjust the paper's position to touch the sensor.
- Paper jam and device stops operating:
- Cause: Too much paper was inserted.
- Solution: Switch to REV ↩️ to remove the paper.
- Device does not operate or stops intermittently:
- Cause: Paper is too thin, moist, or crumpled.
- Solution: Fold the paper in half and reinsert it into the slot.
