Buttons on Sound Bar
The sound bar features several buttons for control:
- M Button: Short press to change modes (Bluetooth, TF, AUX, HDMI, FM).
- [Volume Down/Previous Track] Button: Short press for the previous song. Long press to decrease volume.
- [Play/Pause] Button: Short press to play or pause music. In FM mode, long press to scan for radio stations.
- [Volume Up/Next Track] Button: Short press for the next song. Long press to increase volume.
- [Call/Redial] Button: Short press to answer or end a call. Double click to redial the last number.
Port and Indicator Descriptions
The sound bar has the following ports and indicators:
- 1. AUX IN SLOT: For connecting audio devices via an auxiliary cable.
- 2. HDMI with ARC PORT: For music playing via HDMI with Audio Return Channel functionality.
- 3. TF CARD SLOT: For playing music from a TF (micro SD) card.
- 4. CHARGING LED LIGHT (RED) / MODE INDICATION (BLUE): The LED indicates charging status (RED) or the current mode (BLUE).
- 5. DC IN SLOT: For charging the device.
- 6. ON/OFF SWITCH: To turn the sound bar on or off.
Features and Operation Modes
Power On/Off
Pull the ON/OFF switch to the left to turn the speaker on. Push it to the right to turn the speaker off.
Mode Changing
In Bluetooth, TF, AUX, HDMI, or FM modes, a short press of the 'M' button cycles through the available modes.
Bluetooth Mode
- Pairing: Short press the 'M' button to select Bluetooth mode. The blue LED will flash rapidly, indicating it's ready for pairing. On your Bluetooth device, search for "SC-1423SB". Select it and confirm pairing. If prompted, enter "0000" as the password. A successful connection will result in a constant blue LED.
- Music Playback: While in Bluetooth mode, use the [Play/Pause] button to play/pause. Use the [Next Track] button for the next song and [Previous Track] for the previous song. Long press [Volume Up] or [Volume Down] to adjust volume.
- Hand-free Calls: Short press the [Call/Redial] button to answer or end a call. Double click to redial the last number.
- Important Notice: If the connection is successful, the blue LED will remain constant. It will flash slowly while music is playing.
TF Card Mode
Insert a TF card (micro SD) containing MP3/WMA format files (up to 32GB) into the TF card slot to play music. The sound bar has a built-in decoder for this purpose.
AUX Mode
Connect one end of a 3.5MM audio cable to the speaker's AUX IN slot and the other end to your audio device (mobile phone, MP3 player, computer, etc.) to play music.
HDMI Mode
Connect an HDMI cable to play music. Ensure your HDMI output supports the ARC (Audio Return Channel) function for optimal performance.
FM Radio Mode
Use your charging cable as an antenna. Insert it into the DC IN slot. Press the 'M' button until "FM mode" is heard. Long press the [Play/Pause] button for 2-3 seconds to scan and load all available FM radio stations. Once scanning is complete, use the [Volume Up] and [Volume Down] buttons to switch between stations. Long press [Volume Up] or [Volume Down] to adjust the volume.
Flashing Indications
- Bluetooth Waiting for Pairing: Blue LED flashes fast.
- Bluetooth Paired: Blue LED is constant.
- Bluetooth Playing Music: Blue LED flashes slowly.
- TF Card Mode: Blue LED flashes slowly.
- AUX Mode: Blue LED flashes slowly.
- HDMI Mode: Blue LED flashes slowly.
- FM Radio Mode (Scanning): Blue LED flashes fast.
- FM Radio Mode (Playing Channels): Blue LED is constant.
- Charging: Red LED is constant.
- Fully Charged: Red LED turns off.
