The SLM332L is a broadband wireless terminal product supporting TDD-LTE/FDD-LTE multiple network standards and frequency bands, offering data access and SMS functionalities. It supports TDD-LTE at 8Mbps/2Mbps and FDD-LTE at 10Mbps/5Mbps, making it suitable for M2M applications such as OTT, CPE, routers, data cards, tablets, security devices, and industrial-grade PDAs.

Product Overview

Basic Description

The SLM332L is a wireless communication module supporting TDD-LTE/FDD-LTE, providing data connections and SMS functions. It also supports Wi-Fi Scan (Chinese version only) and GPS/BDS/GLONASS/Galileo/QZSS positioning. The module supports specific frequency bands for TDD-LTE (B34/B38/B39/B40/B41) and FDD-LTE (B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B7/B8/B20/B28/B66). Its highly integrated design features RF and baseband on a single PCB, with a compact size of 15.8 x 17.7 x 2.4 mm.

The SLM332L module offers the following key performance characteristics:

  • Power Supply: VBAT supply voltage range of 3.5V to 4.35V, with a typical voltage of 3.8V.
  • Transmission Power: Class 3 (23 dBm ± 2.7 dB) for both FDD-LTE and TDD-LTE bands.
  • LTE Features: Supports CAT1 Bis, RF bandwidth of 1.4-20 MHz. Maximum speeds are 5Mbps upstream/10Mbps downstream for FDD-LTE, and 2Mbps upstream/8Mbps downstream for TDD-LTE.
  • Location: Supports Wi-Fi Scan positioning and shares the main antenna.
  • Network Protocols: TCP/UDP/MQTT/FTP/FTPS/HTTP/HTTPS/LWM2M/CoAP.
  • USIM Card Interface: Supports 1.8V / 3V USIM/SIM cards.
  • PCM Interface: For audio, requires an external CODEC chip; supports 16-bit linear encoding and short frame mode (module as master).
  • LCD Interface: Supports SPI_LCD with a resolution of 240x320.
  • I2C Interface: Supports 2 I2C interfaces.
  • USB Interface: Supports USB 2.0 for AT commands, data transmission, software debugging, and upgrades. Compatible with Windows 7, 8/8.1, and 10.
  • Serial Port: Main serial port for AT commands and data transfer (default baud rate 115200 bps, supports RTS/CTS hardware flow control). Debugging serial port for log output only.
  • AT Command: Compliant with 3GPP TS 27.007, 27.005, with additional MeiG AT commands.
  • Network Indications: NET_STATUS pin indicates network state.
  • Antenna Interface: Main antenna (ANT_MAIN), Wi-Fi Scan antenna (ANT_MAIN), and GNSS interface (ANT_GNSS).
  • Physical Characteristics: Size: 15.8 x 17.8 x 2.4 mm.
  • Temperature Range: Normal working temperature: -30°C to +75°C; Storage temperature: -40°C to +85°C.
  • Software Upgrades: Via USB interface.
  • RoHS: All devices are EU RoHS compliant.
  • Ambient Humidity: 5%-95%.
  • Functional Interfaces: Power, USB 2.0 High-Speed, USIM/SIM card (3V/1.8V), hardware reset, indicator light, ADC.
