Important Safety Instructions
The lightning flash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons.

Safety
- Read Instructions – Read all safety and operating instructions before using the product.
- Keep Instructions – The safety and operating instructions should be kept for future reference.
- Heed All Warnings – All warnings on the appliance and in the operating instructions should be heeded.
- Follow All Instructions – All operating and use instructions should be followed.
- Do Not Use Near Water – The appliance should not be used near water – for example, in a damp basement or near a swimming pool.
- Cleaning – The appliance should be cleaned only with a dry cloth.
- Ventilation – Do not block any ventilation openings. Install in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Heat Sources – Do not install near heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other apparatus (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
- Polarized Plug/Grounding – Do not defeat the safety purpose of the polarized or grounding-type plug. A polarized plug has two blades, and a grounding-type plug has a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong is for your safety. If the provided plug does not fit into your outlet, consult an electrician to replace the obsolete outlet.
- Power Cord Protection – Power supply cords should be routed so that they are not likely to be walked on or pinched by items placed upon or against them, particularly at the plug, convenience receptacles, and the point where they exit from the appliance.
- Accessories – Use only attachments/accessories specified by the manufacturer.
- Use with Cart/Stand – Use only with the cart, stand, tripod, bracket, or table specified by the manufacturer, or sold with the appliance. If a cart or stand is used, use caution when moving the cart/appliance combination to avoid injury from tip-over.
- Unplug During Storms – Unplug the apparatus during lightning storms or when unused for long periods.
- Servicing – Refer all servicing to qualified service personnel. Servicing is required when the apparatus has been damaged in any way, such as power-supply cord or plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
- Class II/Double Insulation – This apparatus is a Class II or double insulated electrical appliance. It has been designed in such a way that it does not require a safety connection to electrical earth.
- No Liquids – The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing. No objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- Ventilation Clearance – A minimum distance around the apparatus for sufficient ventilation is 5 cm.
- Obstructed Ventilation – Ventilation should not be impeded by covering the ventilation openings with items such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
- No Open Flames – No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- Battery Disposal – Batteries should be recycled or disposed of in accordance with state and local guidelines.
- Climate – The apparatus may be used in moderate climates.
Caution
- Using controls or adjustments or performing procedures other than those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure or other hazardous operations.
- To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this apparatus to rain or moisture. The apparatus shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, shall be placed on the apparatus.
- If the mains plug/appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
- Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Warning
- The battery (battery pack or batteries installed) shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
- Before operating this system, check that its voltage is identical with that of the local power supply.
- Do not place the apparatus near strong magnetic fields.
- Do not place the apparatus on an amplifier or receiver.
- If any solid object or liquid falls into the apparatus, disconnect it from the power supply and have it checked by qualified personnel before further operation.
- Do not attempt to clean the apparatus with chemical solvents, as this may cause damage to the finish. Use a clean, dry or slightly damp cloth.
- When unplugging from the wall socket, always pull the plug directly, not the cord.
General Operation and Safety
Changes or modifications to this apparatus not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user’s authority to operate the apparatus.
The rating label is affixed to the bottom or back of the apparatus.
Battery Usage Warning
To prevent battery leakage which may cause personal injury, material damage or damage to the unit:
- Install all batteries correctly according to the polarity markings (+ and –) on the unit.
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable batteries (Ni-Cd, Ni-MH, etc.).
- Remove batteries if the unit is not to be used for a long period.

Part Identification
Soundbar
1. Remote Control Sensor: Receives signals from the remote control.
2. Display Window: Shows the current status.
3. Wall Bracket Screws
4. (ON/OFF) Button: Switches the Soundbar between ON and STANDBY mode.
5. (SOURCE) Button: Selects the playback source.
6. +/- (VOLUME) Buttons: Increases/decreases the volume level.
7. AC~ Socket: For connecting the power cord.
8. COAXIAL Socket: For connecting to the COAXIAL OUT socket of an external device.
9. OPTICAL Socket: For connecting to the OPTICAL OUT socket of an external device.
10. USB Socket: Insert a USB device to play music.
11. AUX Socket: Connect to an external audio device.
12. HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) Socket: This port connects to your TV. It supports the HDMI eARC/ARC function, allowing audio from the connected TV to be played through the soundbar. For proper configuration, ensure your TV supports HDMI-CEC and ARC and that these features are enabled. You can then use your TV remote to control the soundbar’s volume (VOLUME +/- and MUTE). Note: ARC function works with HDMI 1.4 or later cables and devices supporting HDMI ARC.
13. HDMI IN (1/2) Sockets: Two HDMI ports for connecting HDMI source devices like DVD players, Blu-ray Disc™ players, or game consoles. Only one HDMI input can be used at a time.
Wireless Subwoofer
1. AC~ Socket: For connecting to the power source.
2. PAIR Button: Press to activate pairing between the Soundbar and the subwoofer.
3. PAIR Indicator: The light stops flashing when the subwoofer is successfully paired with the soundbar.
Remote Control
1. Power Button: Switches the Soundbar between ON and STANDBY mode.
2. SOURCE Buttons: Press to select the source. Press and hold to activate Bluetooth pairing or disconnect a paired Bluetooth device.
3. ◀◀ / ▶▶ Buttons: Skip to the previous/next track in Bluetooth/USB mode.
▶|| Button: Play/Pause/Resume playback in Bluetooth/USB mode.
4. BASS +/- Buttons: Adjusts the bass level.
5. TREBLE +/- Buttons: Adjusts the treble level.
6. ◀× (MUTE) Button: Mutes or unmutes the sound.
+/- (VOLUME) Buttons: Increases/decreases the volume level.
7. VERTICAL/SURROUND Button: Turns surround sound on/off.
8. EQ Buttons: Selects the desired sound equalizer (EQ) preset (VOICE, SPORT, MOVIE, MUSIC).
9. DIMMER Button: Adjusts the display brightness.
Remote Control Preparation
The supplied remote control allows you to operate the Soundbar from a distance.
- Even within the operating range of 6 meters, operation may be impossible if there are any obstacles between the Soundbar and the remote control.
- If the remote control is used near infrared-emitting products or other remote control devices using infrared, it may operate improperly. Conversely, other products may operate improperly.
Replacing Batteries in the Remote Control
- Press and slide the back cover to open the battery compartment.
- Insert two AAA size batteries (included). Ensure the battery terminals + and – match the markings in the battery compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Battery Precautions
- Ensure that the inserted batteries have the correct polarity (+ and –).
- Use batteries of the same type. Never mix batteries of different types.
- Rechargeable and non-rechargeable batteries can be used. Please refer to the precautions on their labels.
- Be careful not to scratch your fingernails when removing the battery cover and batteries.
- Do not drop the remote control.
- Do not allow anything to strike the remote control.
- Do not spill water or any other liquid on the remote control.
- Do not place the remote control on a wet object.
- Do not place the remote control in direct sunlight or near sources of excessive heat.
- If the remote control is not used for a long period, remove the batteries, as corrosion or leakage from the batteries may cause personal injury and/or material damage and/or fire.
- Do not use batteries other than those specified.
- Do not mix new batteries with old ones.
- Never attempt to recharge batteries unless they are confirmed to be rechargeable batteries.
Placement and Installation
Placement
Option A: If your TV is placed on a table, you can place the Soundbar on the table directly in front of the TV stand, centered with the TV screen.
Option B: If your TV is wall-mounted, you can mount the Soundbar on the wall directly below the TV screen.
Wall Mounting (Option B)
Installation should only be performed by qualified personnel. Improper installation can cause serious personal injury and material damage (if you intend to install this product yourself, you must check for the presence of electrical and hydraulic lines within the wall). The installer is responsible for verifying that the wall is capable of safely supporting the total load of the Soundbar and wall brackets.
- Additional tools (not included) are required for installation.
- Do not overtighten screws.
- Keep this instruction manual for future reference.
- Before drilling and mounting, check the wall type using an electronic stud finder.
WARNING
- To prevent injury, the unit must be securely attached to the floor/wall in accordance with the installation instructions.
- Suggested wall mounting height: ≤ 1.5 meters.
- Drill 4 parallel holes in the wall (Ø 5.5 – 6 mm each, depending on wall type). The distance between the holes should be 778 mm.
- If necessary, firmly insert a wall plug into each hole. Attach the mounting brackets to the wall using screws and a screwdriver (not included). Ensure they are securely mounted.
- Remove the screws located on the back of the Soundbar. Install the wall mounting screws into the back of the Soundbar.
- Slide the Soundbar onto the wall mounting brackets and lock them into place.
General Operation
Power Connection
Risk of product damage! Ensure the power supply voltage matches the voltage indicated on the back or bottom of the Soundbar. Before connecting the power cord, ensure all other connections have been made.
Soundbar: Connect the power cord to the Soundbar’s AC~ socket, then to the mains socket.
Subwoofer: Connect the power cord to the subwoofer’s AC~ socket, then to the mains socket.
Note: If there is no power, ensure the power cord and plug are fully inserted and the power is switched on.
Pairing with Subwoofer
Automatic Pairing
The subwoofer and soundbar will automatically pair when both devices are connected to mains sockets and powered on. No cable is needed for this connection. Check the status via the wireless subwoofer’s indicator:
- Fast flashing > Subwoofer is in pairing mode.
- Solid light > Connection / pairing successful.
- Slow flashing > Connection / pairing failed.
Note: Do not press the PAIR button on the back of the subwoofer unless performing manual pairing. If automatic pairing fails, manually pair the subwoofer with the Soundbar.
Manual Pairing
- Ensure all cables are correctly connected and the Soundbar is in standby mode.
- Press and hold the PAIR button on the back of the subwoofer for a few seconds. The subwoofer will enter pairing mode, and the pairing indicator will flash rapidly.
- Press the [Power] button on the Soundbar or remote control to turn on the Soundbar.
- Once the wireless connection is successfully established, the pairing indicator will light up.
- If the pairing indicator flashes, the wireless connection has failed. Disconnect the subwoofer’s power cord, wait 4 minutes, and then reconnect the main power cord. Repeat steps 1-4.
Note: If the wireless connection fails again, check for strong interference nearby (e.g., from electronic devices). Remove these sources of interference and repeat the procedures. The subwoofer should be within 6 meters of the Soundbar in an open space. If the Soundbar is not connected to the subwoofer and is in ON mode, the POWER indicator will flash. Perform the steps described in points 1-4 above to pair the subwoofer with the Soundbar.
Standby/On Mode
After the first connection to the mains socket, the Soundbar is in standby mode.
- To turn on the Soundbar, press the [Power] button on the Soundbar or the remote control.
- Pressing the button again will switch the Soundbar back to standby mode.
- To completely turn off the Soundbar, unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
Auto Power Off Function
The Soundbar automatically switches to standby mode after approximately 15 minutes if the TV or external device is disconnected, turned off, or the volume level is too low (close to mute).
- To completely turn off the Soundbar, unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
- Please turn off the Soundbar completely to save energy when it is not in use.
Selecting Modes
Press the [SOURCE] button on the Soundbar or the AUX, ✱, OPT/COA, HDMI 1/2, HDMI eARC, and USB buttons on the remote control to select the desired mode. The selected mode will be displayed.
Adjusting Bass/Treble Levels
Press the BASS +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the bass level. Press the TREBLE +/- buttons on the remote control to adjust the treble level.
Turning Surround Sound On/Off
Press the VERTICAL/SURROUND button on the remote control to turn on surround sound. Press this button again to turn off surround sound.
Selecting Equalizer (EQ) Effect
Use the VOICE / SPORT / MOVIE / MUSIC buttons on the remote control to select the desired preset equalizer effects.
Adjusting Volume
To adjust the volume, press the +/- (VOLUME) buttons on the Soundbar or the remote control. To mute the sound, press the ◀× (MUTE) button on the remote control. Press the ◀× (MUTE) button again, or press the +/- (VOLUME) buttons on the Soundbar or remote control to return to normal listening.
Adjusting Brightness
Press the DIMMER button on the remote control to select the brightness level.
Connections
HDMI Connection
Some 4K HDR TVs may require HDMI input or picture settings to be configured for HDR content. Refer to your TV’s user manual for details on configuring HDR picture display.
eARC / ARC (Enhanced Audio Return Channel)
The eARC / ARC function allows audio from a TV compatible with ARC to be transmitted to the soundbar via a single HDMI connection. To use ARC, ensure your TV is compatible with HDMI-CEC and ARC and is configured accordingly. Once properly configured, you can use your TV remote to control the soundbar’s volume (VOLUME +/- and MUTE).
Connect an HDMI cable (included) from the unit’s HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) socket to the HDMI (ARC) socket on an ARC-compatible TV. Then, use the remote control to select the ARC option.
Note: The TV must support HDMI-CEC and ARC. HDMI-CEC and ARC must be enabled. The method for setting HDMI-CEC and ARC may vary by TV. Refer to the TV’s user manual for detailed information on ARC functionality. ARC function only works with devices supporting HDMI ARC and HDMI 1.4 (or newer) cables.
Standard HDMI
If your TV is not compatible with the HDMI ARC function, connect the soundbar to the TV using a standard HDMI connection.
Use an HDMI cable to connect the Soundbar’s HDMI OUT (TV eARC/ARC) socket to the TV’s HDMI IN socket.
Use an HDMI cable to connect the Soundbar’s HDMI IN (1 or 2) socket to external devices (e.g., game console).
Using the OPTICAL Socket
Remove the protective cap from the OPTICAL socket, then connect an OPTICAL cable (not included) from the TV’s OPTICAL OUT socket to the OPTICAL socket on the Soundbar.
Using the COAXIAL Socket
Using a COAXIAL cable (not included), connect the TV’s COAXIAL OUT socket to the COAXIAL socket on the Soundbar.
Using the AUX Socket
Using a 3.5 mm - 3.5 mm audio cable (not included), connect the TV’s headphone socket or an external audio device to the Soundbar’s AUX socket.
Use the RCA to 3.5 mm audio cable (included) to connect the TV’s audio output sockets to the Soundbar’s AUX socket.
Using AUX / OPTICAL / COAXIAL / HDMI Sockets
- Ensure the Soundbar is connected to the TV or audio device.
- Press the [SOURCE] button on the Soundbar or the AUX, OPT/COA, HDMI 1/2, HDMI eARC buttons on the remote control repeatedly to select the appropriate mode. The selected mode will be displayed.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level using the +/- (VOLUME) buttons.
Note: The Soundbar may not be able to decode all digital audio formats from the input source. In such cases, the Soundbar will be muted. This is not a defect. Ensure the audio source signal (e.g., TV, game console, DVD player, etc.) is set to PCM or Dolby Digital mode when using digital connections (e.g., HDMI, OPTICAL, COAXIAL). If a different audio format is selected, the Soundbar will display the following message:

Bluetooth® Operation
Pair the Soundbar with a Bluetooth® device to listen to music.
First-Time Pairing
- Press the [SOURCE] button on the Soundbar or the [✱] button on the remote control repeatedly to select Bluetooth® mode. The display will show “NO BT”.
- Turn on your Bluetooth® device and select the search mode. “TH-E741B” will appear in the list of Bluetooth® devices.
- Select “TH-E741B”, and enter “0000” as the password if required. The soundbar will emit a “Paired” sound, and the display will show “BT”.
Pairing a New Device
- In Bluetooth® mode, press and hold the [Bluetooth] button or [✱] button to clear all pairings. The soundbar will enter pairing mode. The soundbar will emit a “Pairing” sound, and the display will show “PAIR”.
- To pair a new Bluetooth® device, follow steps 2-3 in the “First-Time Pairing” section above.
Listening to Music from a Bluetooth® Device
If your Bluetooth® device supports A2DP, play music using the device. If your Bluetooth® device supports AVRCP, use the included remote control to control playback.
- To increase/decrease volume, press the +/- (VOLUME) buttons.
- To pause/resume playback, press the ▶|| button.
- To skip tracks, press the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons.
To turn off Bluetooth® function, you can:
- Switch to another source on the Soundbar;
- Turn off the function on the Bluetooth® device.
Note: The operating range between the Soundbar and the device is approximately 8 meters. Before connecting a Bluetooth® device to the Soundbar, ensure you are familiar with its capabilities. Compatibility with all Bluetooth® devices is not guaranteed. Any obstacles between the device and the Soundbar may reduce the operating range. Keep this player away from other electronic devices that may cause interference. The player will also disconnect when the device is out of the operating range.
USB Operation
By connecting a USB mass storage device (e.g., USB flash drive) to this unit, you can play music stored on it via the Soundbar.
- To select USB mode, press the [SOURCE] button on the Soundbar or the USB button on the remote control.
- Press the ▶|| button to pause/resume playback.
- To skip tracks, press the ◀◀ or ▶▶ buttons.
Note: The player only supports the MP3 music file format. The Soundbar supports USB devices up to 32 GB. The Soundbar may not be compatible with all USB devices; this is not an indication of a problem with the unit.

Using Dolby Atmos®
- Dolby Atmos® is available only in HDMI mode. For detailed connection information, see the “HDMI Connection” section.
- To use Dolby Atmos® in HDMI1, HDMI2, and HDMI ARC/eARC modes, your TV must support Dolby Atmos®.
- Ensure that the “No Encoding” option is selected for bitstream in the audio output of the connected external device (e.g., Blu-ray DVD player, TV, etc.).
Note: The full Dolby Atmos experience is available only when the soundbar is connected to the source via an HDMI 2.0 cable. The soundbar will still function when connected via other methods (such as an Optical Digital cable), but they cannot support all Dolby features. Therefore, we recommend connecting via HDMI for full Dolby support.
