Product Overview
The Aldes OCTA à baffle D400 is a circular acoustic silencer designed to significantly reduce acoustic propagation, particularly in the medium and high-frequency ranges, within circular ventilation networks. It ensures acoustic comfort in tertiary and collective buildings while maintaining excellent network airtightness.

Product Description
The OCTA à Baffle silencer features an interior lined with mineral wool and a glass veil for sound attenuation. A central baffle made of rock wool further enhances its sound-absorbing capacity.
Construction Details:
- Outer casing: Full galvanized steel sheet.
- Connection collars with gasket.
- Inner casing: Perforated galvanized steel sheet.
- Acoustic insulation: 50 mm mineral wool + glass veil (up to Ø 500 mm) or 100 mm (beyond Ø 500 mm).
- Fire classification: MO (equivalent to A1 according to Euroclasses).
- Airtightness: Class C according to EN 1751 standard.
- Central baffle: Monobloc rock wool panels with anti-fibrillation glass veil.
- Galvanized steel frame.
- Attack edges integrated into the baffle.
- Baffle thickness: 50 mm (up to Ø 355 mm) or 100 mm (beyond Ø 355 mm).
- Fire classification of baffle: M1.
