Control Panel Description

Accessory Trim Kits

These kits facilitate built-in installation into a wall or cabinet and are UL-approved for installation over a GE single electric wall oven. They are not recommended for installation over a gas wall oven.

Cabinet Overlap Requirements
The trim kits require specific cabinet overlaps for proper installation. Measurements are provided for 30-inch and 27-inch cabinets:

Installation Notes and Diagrams
General Dimensions: The microwave unit itself measures approximately 16-3/4 inches ± 1/8 inch in height and fits within a cabinet width of 25-1/2 inches up to 25-5/8 inches.
Receptacle Space: Ensure adequate space for the electrical receptacle. A minimum of 22 inches is required within the cabinet for the receptacle, and a minimum of 19-1/2 inches is required outside the cabinet.
Clearance: It is important to allow an additional inch of clearance beyond the trim kit frame on all sides. This ensures the trim kit does not obstruct any adjoining cabinets or other kitchen elements.
ADA Compliance: For accessibility, the microwave must be installed no higher than 36 1/4 inches from the floor.
Electrical: The unit requires a 120V, 60-cycle, grounded power receptacle. The location of this receptacle is optional, typically placed on the back within the cabinet opening.
