Setup Guide

The remote is pre-programmed for common devices. For others, use SimpleSet or Code Setup.

SimpleSet

For common brands:

1. Turn on device, point remote.
2. Press Device Key (e.g., TV).
3. Hold Setup until LED blinks twice.
4. Hold the digit key for your brand (see manual). Remote sends Power command.
5. Release key when device turns off. LED blinks twice.

If issues arise, repeat from step 2.

Setup by Code

For unlisted brands:

1. Turn on device, point remote.
2. Press Device Key.
3. Hold Setup until LED blinks twice.
4. Enter 4-digit code from manual. LED blinks twice.
5. Press Power. If device turns off, setup is complete.

Repeat with next code if unsuccessful.

Learning Functions

Learn functions from other remotes:

1. Press Device Key.
2. Hold Setup until LED blinks twice.
3. Press 975.
4. Press key on URC6821 to program; LED flashes.
5. Press corresponding key on original remote.
6. LED blinks twice to confirm. Repeat for other keys.
7. Hold Setup to exit.

Note: Try holding key on original remote if press-and-release fails.

Deleting Functions

To reset a key:

1. Press Device Key.
2. Hold Setup until LED blinks twice.
3. Press 976.
4. Press key to reset twice. LED blinks twice.

Sound Bar / Audio Receiver Control

Control volume and mute for audio devices.

Audio SimpleSet

For supported brands (Bose, Denon, Samsung, LG, Philips, Onkyo, Panasonic, Pioneer, Sony, Yamaha):

Setup: Hold Setup+Vol Up, press brand digit key. Release when device mutes. Hold Setup+Vol Down to finalize.

Audio Code Setup

Use 4-digit codes for unlisted brands.

1. Hold Setup+Vol Down.
2. Hold Setup+Vol Up.
3. Enter 4-digit code.
4. Test controls. Repeat if needed.

Reset Volume Control

Hold Setup+Vol Down until LED blinks 4 times.
