1. Overview

e301: enteliWEB Fundamentals

Prerequisites
- Either of the following:
- F280: Basic Tech Training
- Legacy Level 1 Training (Pre-2017)
2. Description
This course is designed for techs interested in gaining fundamental engineering skills with enteliWEB; Delta Controls' web based software package. The 3 day class will familiarize students with the following concepts:
- Overview of enteliWEB
- Software installation, licensing & management
- Site creation & configuration
- Setting up Users & Groups
- Navigation search bar filters
- Objects
- Overview & common Object Types
- Building up a controller database with Objects
- Creating/copying/pasting/renaming device Objects
- Customizing Navigation to access any/all Object Properties
- Simple database management for both devices and enteliWEB configuration
- Task based (automated) database management
- Controller based Alarms/Alerts
- Event Objects (EV)
- Event Class Objects (EVC)
- Alarm types & configuration
- Acknowledged vs Non-Acknowledged
- Managing network time
- Archiving basics for Building Automation
- Installation/setup of a CopperCube
- Adding/managing Trend Logs to Archive
- enteliWEB Active Alarm Management
- Alarm filters
- eWEB Alarm attributes
- Scaling up Alarm Management (1 site vs multiple)
- Groups and Users
- Permissions & Permission Sets
- User Properties
- Managing Users
- Using the Operator Log (audit logs for user actions and controller alarms/events)
3. Prerequisites and Course Flow
Basic knowledge of Delta Controls products and methodology is required before taking this course. Before registering, students must have completed F180 or F280, as per page 1, above (see 'Logistics/Prerequisites').
Successful completion of this course is accepted as a prerequisite to enroll in the following Intermediate level courses:
- e303: enteliWEB Energy Management
- PG101: GCL+ Basics
- e315: enteliVIZ HTML5
? PLEASE NOTE:
- Students who have taken e301 and wish to learn more about enteliVIZ can enroll directly for e315, without taking ‘e210: eWEB Basics for eVIZ’.
- Students who successfully complete e301 are entitled to an enteliWEB Reward License, which is a one year subscription for a Tech License.
- Reward licenses are issued directly to students.
