IBL MPK 12M Electric Kettle User Manual

- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.
- The appliance must not be immersed in water.
- No responsibility is accepted for damage resulting from improper use or non-compliance with instructions.
- The kettle is designed for heating water only. Never put any other liquid into the kettle, nor should it be used as another cooking appliance.
- Before inserting the main plug, check that the supply line voltage and current rating comply with the kettle's label.
- Do not operate the kettle with wet hands.
- Keep children away from the kettle when it is heating or filled with hot water.
- Prevent scalding from hot water or steam.
- Pour away the very first water boiled with this kettle before use.
- Do not touch any part of the kettle except the handle when it is filled with boiling water.
- Pour out boiling water in one go to allow the kettle's temperature to decline.
- Remove the plug from the wall socket after use, in case of malfunction, or before cleaning.
- When removing the plug, never pull on the power cord.
- Regularly clean and descale the kettle, but do not immerse the kettle, especially the heating base, in water.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.

Operation Guidelines
- Filling Water:
- Fill water between the minimum and maximum lines indicated on the kettle body.
- Avoid water flowing onto the outside surface of the kettle when filling.
- Locating:
- Place the kettle on a stable, flat surface.
- Never heat the kettle on a wet surface, and prevent water from penetrating electrical parts.
- Do not position the kettle on or near hot surfaces or open flames.
- Switching On:
- Insert the main plug into the wall socket. Ensure the power cord is safely positioned.
- Push the restoring switch.
- The red indicator lamp will light up, indicating the kettle is heating.
- Boiling:
- The kettle automatically switches off a few seconds after the water boils.
- The red indicator lamp goes out when the kettle switches off.
- Restoring:
- After switching off, the kettle needs time to cool down.
- After approximately 15 seconds, the kettle can be switched on again by manually restoring the switch.
- If the red indicator lamp remains off after pushing the restoring switch, the temperature sensing controller may still be hot. Allow more time before re-operating.

- The warranty period starts from the date of purchase from an authorized dealer.
- The appliance must be used with normal care and maintenance, following the company's recommended instructions in the manual.
- The appliance should not be repaired, tampered with, or altered by any agency or person other than authorized company personnel or their service centers.
