Thank you for purchasing the JBL Bar 1300MK2 soundbar, detachable speakers, and subwoofer, designed to deliver an extraordinary 3D sound experience in your home entertainment system. We encourage you to take a few minutes to read through this manual, which describes the product and provides step-by-step instructions to help you set up and get started.
To fully utilize the product's features and support, you may need to update the product's software via the Internet in the future. Refer to the software update section to ensure your device has the latest software.

JBL One App
With the JBL One app, you can:
- Easily complete product setup;
- Connect to music streaming services;
- Discover new music through integrated music services;
- Access software updates as soon as they become available;
- Personalize sound settings;
- Access additional features.

3. PRODUCT OVERVIEW
3.1 Soundbar
3.1.1 Front and Top Panel
1. Status indicator
System:
- Solid pulsing (white): System starting
- Rapid pulsing (white): Software update in progress
- Solid (amber): Resetting to factory settings
Network connection:
- Slow pulsing (white): Wi-Fi setup mode, or network disconnected
- Solid (white): Network connected
- Solid (yellow): Weak Wi-Fi connection
2. -/+ (Volume)
- Wake the soundbar from standby mode.
- Decrease or increase volume.
- Press both volume buttons simultaneously to mute or unmute the sound.
- Press and hold both buttons for more than 10 seconds to enter Wi-Fi setup mode.
3. Microphone
- For sound calibration.
4. Source
- Wake the soundbar from standby mode.
- Select audio source: TV (default, for audio input from TV where HDMI OUT is prioritized over OPTICAL), Bluetooth, or HDMI IN.
- Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to enter Bluetooth pairing mode.
5. Display
3.1.2 Rear Panel
- POWER: Connect to the power source (using the supplied cable).
- USB: USB port for software update (for service only). Connect a USB drive to play MP3 files (for US and Asia Pacific versions; in other versions, the USB port is for service only).
- ETHERNET: Connect to your home network via an Ethernet cable.
- HDMI IN (1/2/3): Connect to the HDMI output of a digital device.
- TV ports
- HDMI OUT (TV ARC/TV eARC): Connect to the HDMI ARC / HDMI eARC input on your TV.
- OPTICAL: Connect to the optical output of a TV or digital device.
3.2 Detachable Speakers
- Press to enable or disable multi-speaker connection.
- USB-C port: For charging the battery.
- Power: Press to turn on the device. Press and hold for more than 3 seconds to turn off the device.
3.3 Subwoofer
3.3.1 Indicator Status
Connection status indicator:
- Solid pulsing (white): Soundbar mode selected / Connecting to soundbar
- Solid (white): Subwoofer connected to soundbar
For wireless connection status:
- Solid pulsing (white): Soundbar mode selected / Connecting to soundbar
- Solid (white): Subwoofer connected to soundbar
For Bluetooth Stereo pairing:
- Rapid pulsing (cyan): Connecting to the second detachable speaker (Bluetooth stereo pairing mode)
- Solid (cyan): Connected to the second detachable speaker (Bluetooth stereo connected)
3.3.2 Power Connection
Connect to power (using the supplied power cord).
3.4 Remote Control
- Power: Wake or put into standby mode.
- +/-: Adjust volume. Press and hold to continuously adjust volume.
- Mute: Turn sound on/off.
- Sound effect buttons
- Select Dolby Atmos® / DTS:X® effect level: Medium (default), High, or Low.
- BASS: Select subwoofer bass level: 1/2/3 (default)/4/5.
- REAR (available if both detachable speakers are detached from the soundbar): Select detachable speaker surround level: Medium (default), High, Off, or Low.
- CALIBR: Start sound calibration.
- (Moment): Access your personalized music playlists and speaker settings from the JBL One app.
- (Playback control for music streaming via Wi-Fi or Bluetooth)
- Single press: Pause or resume playback.
- Double press: Next track.
- Triple press: Previous track.
- Source selectors
- HDMI: Select HDMI IN source (HDMI 1 (default)/2/3). Press multiple times to cycle through HDMI IN sources.
- TV: Select TV source (default, for audio input from TV where HDMI OUT is prioritized over OPTICAL).
- Bluetooth: Select Bluetooth source.
4. PLACEMENT
4.1 Tabletop Placement
Place the soundbar, detachable speakers, and subwoofer on a flat, stable surface. Refer to the diagram below for recommended distances.

NOTES:
- Ensure the power cord is properly connected to the power source.
- Do not place objects on the soundbar, detachable speakers, or subwoofer.
- Recharge the detachable speakers in time to prevent battery discharge (see "6.2 Charging the detachable speakers").
- After detaching the surround speakers, close the ends of the soundbar with the supplied side caps (see Step 6 in "4.2.2 Installing detachable speakers on the wall as surround speakers").
4.2 Wall-Mounting
Mount the soundbar and detachable speakers on the wall, either together or separately.
4.2.1 Soundbar Wall Mounting
- Preparation:
- Approximately 120 mm (4.7 inches) from the TV, attach the wall-mount template to the wall using adhesive tape.
- Use the tip of a ballpoint pen to mark the screw holder locations. Remove the template.
- Drill a 4 mm (0.16 inch) diameter hole at the marked location.
- Install the wall-mount bracket.
- Secure the wall-mount brackets to the back of the soundbar using screws.
- Mount the soundbar.
- After the soundbar is securely mounted on the wall, attach the two detachable speakers to the soundbar.
NOTES:
- Ensure the wall can support the weight of the soundbar.
- Install only on a vertical wall.
- Avoid areas with high temperature or humidity.
- Before wall mounting, ensure cables can be connected to the soundbar and external devices.
- Before wall mounting, ensure the soundbar is disconnected from power. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock.
- To avoid accidental damage to the detachable speakers, remove both speakers from the soundbar before moving it.
- After detaching the surround speakers, close the ends of the soundbar with the supplied side caps (see Step 6 in "4.2.2 Installing detachable speakers on the wall as surround speakers").
4.2.2 Installing Detachable Speakers on the Wall as Surround Speakers
- Detach the two detachable speakers from the soundbar.
- Mark the locations with a ballpoint pen.
- Install the wall-mount bracket.
- Install the support on the back of the soundbar.
- Install the speakers.
- If necessary, install the side caps.
5. CONNECTION
5.1 Connecting to TV and Digital Devices
To play audio through the soundbar, connect the soundbar to your TV using the supplied HDMI cable or an optical cable (sold separately).
HDMI connection supports digital audio and video through a single port. HDMI connection is the best option for your soundbar.
NOTES:
- When both HDMI and optical cables are connected to the soundbar for audio signal transmission from the TV, the HDMI connection is prioritized.
- Full compatibility with all HDMI-CEC devices is not guaranteed.
- With its 6-speaker array design and detachable surround speakers, the soundbar's Dolby matrix with up-firing speakers can expand existing Dolby Digital channel audio formats, including 5.1 and 7.1 content, to deliver immersive 3D Atmos sound.
- HDMI cable (for connecting digital devices) and optical cable are sold separately.
5.1.1 TV (HDMI eARC)

- Connect the soundbar to the HDMI IN (eARC) port on your TV using the supplied HDMI cable.
- In your TV settings, check if HDMI-CEC and HDMI eARC functions are enabled. For more information, refer to your TV's manual.
- Using an HDMI cable (V2.0 or later), connect your TV to a digital device, such as a streaming device, TV box, DVD/Blu-ray player, or game console.
- Ensure HDMI-CEC is enabled on the digital device. For more information, refer to your digital device's manual.
- For optimal Dolby Atmos sound, select "Bitstream" or "Pass-through" in the audio output settings on your TV and digital device.
5.1.2 TV (HDMI ARC)

- Connect the soundbar to the HDMI IN (ARC) port on your TV using the supplied HDMI cable.
- On your TV, check if HDMI-CEC and HDMI ARC are enabled. For more information, refer to your TV's manual.
- Using an HDMI cable (V2.0 or later), connect your TV to a digital device, such as a streaming device, TV box, DVD/Blu-ray player, or game console.
- Ensure HDMI-CEC is enabled on the digital device. For more information, refer to your digital device's manual.
- For optimal Dolby Atmos sound, select "Bitstream" or "Pass-through" in the audio output settings on your digital device.
NOTE:
To play audio from a digital device connected to the TV, select TV (see "7.2 Playback from TV source").
NOTE:
If your TV does not support HDMI eARC, connect your digital device via the HDMI IN port on the soundbar instead of the TV. Otherwise, Dolby Atmos information may not be transmitted to the soundbar via the HDMI (ARC) ports.
5.1.3 OPTICAL

- Connect the soundbar to your TV using an optical cable.
- Using an HDMI cable (V2.0 or later), connect your TV to a digital device, such as a streaming device, TV box, DVD/Blu-ray player, or game console.
NOTE:
To play audio via the optical cable, select TV (see "7.2 Playback from TV source").
5.2 Connecting to a Bluetooth Device
Pair the soundbar with a Bluetooth device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, or laptop) via Bluetooth.

5.2.1 Connecting a Bluetooth Device
- To select the Bluetooth source, press the button on the soundbar or remote control.
- "BT PAIRING": Ready for Bluetooth pairing.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device and search for "JBL BAR 1300MK2" within three minutes.
- "BT CONNECTED": Successfully connected. A confirmation tone will sound.
5.3 Connecting to Your Home Network
With the JBL One app and supported streaming services (Google Cast, AirPlay, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Roon Ready), the soundbar allows you to stream audio from your smartphone or tablet.
5.3.1 Wi-Fi Connection to Your Home Network

- On the soundbar, enter Wi-Fi setup mode:
- Press any button on the soundbar (see "7.1 Power On/Auto Standby/Auto Wake Up").
- If the soundbar has not been connected to a network, "HELLO" will appear, followed by "SETUP WIFI".
- If the JBL One app does not detect the soundbar, press and hold the - and + buttons simultaneously for more than 10 seconds to re-enter Wi-Fi setup mode.
- Connect your Android™ or iOS device to your home Wi-Fi network. Download the JBL One app.
- Launch the JBL One app. Follow the app's instructions to complete the Wi-Fi setup.

(Solid white): Soundbar is connected to your home network.
You can stream music from the JBL One app or a streaming service enabled through the JBL One app (see "7.5 Playback via your home network").
5.3.2 Wired Connection to Your Home Network (Optional)
- Connect the soundbar to your home network using an Ethernet cable (not included).
- Download and launch the JBL One app on your Android or iOS device for music streaming.
NOTES:
- You can rename the soundbar in the JBL One app on your Android or iOS device.
- On your iOS device, add the soundbar to the Apple Home app and manage it along with other AirPlay-compatible devices.
- On iOS devices, if the soundbar is added to your home Wi-Fi network, you can initiate AirPlay streaming from an AirPlay-compatible app (see "7.5.4 Playback via AirPlay").
- Availability of online music streaming services depends on the country. Some features may require a subscription and service availability may vary by country.
6. SETUP
6.1 Connecting Detachable Rear Speakers and Subwoofer

- Connect the soundbar to the power source using the supplied cable.
- "LOAD" will appear on the soundbar display, followed by "HELLO".
- Complete the connection steps:
- Connect the subwoofer to the power source using the supplied cables.
- The soundbar automatically connects to the subwoofer. Connected: The indicator on the subwoofer lights up solid white.
- Attach the detachable speakers to the soundbar or press the button, then press the button on the detachable speakers to quickly reconnect to the soundbar.
- The soundbar automatically connects to the detachable speakers. Connected: The status indicator on the detachable speakers lights up solid white.
NOTES:
- Use only the supplied power cord.
- Before connecting to power, ensure all other connections are made (see "5.1 Connecting to TV and Digital Devices").
6.2 Charging Detachable Speakers
If the battery of the detachable surround speakers is low, the wireless connection to the soundbar will be disabled.
For first-time use, charge the two detachable speakers for approximately 4 hours to ensure sufficient battery power.
When the battery charge is low, the status indicator on the detachable speakers will flash red, and "REAR SPKR LOW BATT" will appear on the soundbar.
6.2.1 Charging by Connecting Detachable Speakers
Charging begins when the detachable speakers are connected to the soundbar.
The soundbar enters standby mode, the indicator lights up when the detachable speakers are fully charged, and turns off when charging is complete.
Charging a depleted battery to full capacity takes about 4 hours.
6.2.2 Charging via USB Cable

- Use the USB-C cable (sold separately) to connect the detachable speakers to a power source.
- The status indicator on the detachable speakers indicates both battery charge and wireless connection status (see "3.2 Detachable Speakers").
6.3 Immersive 3D Sound
6.3.1 Sound Calibration
Optimize Immersive 3D Sound for your favorite listening position.
To calibrate the sound, ensure that:
- The room is quiet;
- The soundbar and the two detachable speakers are fully within your field of view, with no obstructions between them;
- The left and right rear speakers are positioned correctly: the L (left) speaker on the left, and the R (right) speaker on the right.

- Place the detachable rear speakers near your listening position in the room.
- On the remote control, press CALIBR to start calibration.
- "1-CALIBRATION" will appear on the soundbar.
- When "PRESS AGAIN TO CONFIRM" is displayed, press CALIBR again.
- "CALIBRATING" will appear, indicating calibration is in progress.
- "1-DONE" will appear, indicating that the listening zone calibration is complete.
6.3.2 Dolby Atmos / DTS:X
Dolby Atmos or DTS:X technology provides sound that moves around you for a powerful 3D immersive effect.

- To experience Dolby Atmos or DTS:X immersive sound, connect and power on a Blu-ray player or streaming device as described in "5.1 Connecting to TV and Digital Devices".
- To adjust the sound level for Dolby Atmos or DTS:X, press the button on the remote control to cycle through Medium (default), High, or Low levels.
NOTE:
Dolby Atmos and DTS:X sound effects apply only to corresponding audio content.
6.3.3 Rear Speaker Volume Adjustment
After detaching both detachable rear speakers, you can select the surround sound level.

6.3.4 Bass Adjustment
Adjust the bass as needed.

On the remote control, press the button to cycle through bass levels.
LVL 1 - LVL 5 will be displayed (Default: LVL 3).
6.4 Using Detachable Speakers
With detachable speakers, you can:
- Configure the rear speakers as portable Bluetooth speakers or a Bluetooth stereo system.
- Enable Night Listening to enhance audio quality or for late-night listening.
6.4.1 Portable Bluetooth Speakers
Either detachable rear speaker can be used as a standalone Bluetooth speaker.

Connecting a Bluetooth Device
- To switch to Bluetooth mode, press the button on the left or right speaker.
- Ready for Bluetooth pairing.
- The detachable rear speaker will detach from the soundbar.
6.4.2 Bluetooth Stereo System
By connecting two detachable speakers, you can set up a music stereo system with left (L) or right (R) channels.

- Ensure the left and right rear speakers are positioned correctly: L (left) speaker on the left, R (right) speaker on the right.
- Connecting two speakers:
- On one speaker, press and hold until the status indicator flashes cyan.
- Within three minutes, press and hold on the other speaker until the status indicator flashes cyan.
- Ready for Bluetooth stereo pairing.
- Bluetooth stereo connected.
To disconnect the Bluetooth stereo connection between the two speakers:
- On either connected speaker, press and hold until the status indicator flashes cyan.
- Bluetooth stereo connection disconnected. The speakers switch to Bluetooth pairing mode and reconnect to the last paired Bluetooth device.
7. PLAYBACK
7.1 Power On/Auto Standby/Auto Wake Up
7.1.1 Powering On

To turn on the system, press the button on the remote control or press any button on the soundbar to wake it from standby mode.
"HELLO" will be displayed.
The subwoofer automatically reconnects to the soundbar. Connected: The indicator on the subwoofer lights up solid white.
The detachable speakers automatically reconnect to the soundbar. Connected: The status indicator on the detachable speakers lights up solid white.
7.1.2 Auto Standby
If the soundbar is inactive for more than 10 minutes, it will automatically enter standby mode. "STDBY" will be displayed.
The subwoofer will also enter standby mode, and the indicator will light up solid amber.
The detachable speakers will enter standby mode, and the wireless connection status indicator will turn off.
The next time the soundbar is turned on, it will return to the last selected source.
NOTE:
On the detachable speakers, press and hold for more than 3 seconds to disconnect.
To reconnect to the soundbar, press the button again, and if necessary, press the button to enter soundbar mode.
7.1.3 Auto Wake Up
In standby mode, the soundbar will automatically wake up when:
- The soundbar is connected to your TV via HDMI eARC/ARC and your TV is turned on;
- The soundbar is connected to your TV and a digital device, such as a streaming device, DVD/Blu-ray player, or game console, via HDMI cables, and your digital device is turned on;
- The soundbar is connected to your home network, and audio is being streamed to the soundbar via music streaming services.
7.2 Playback from TV Source
When the soundbar is connected, you can listen to TV audio through the soundbar's speakers.

- Ensure your TV is set to support external speakers, and the TV's built-in speakers are muted. For more information, refer to your TV's manual.
- Ensure the soundbar is correctly connected to your TV (see "5.1 Connecting to TV and Digital Devices").
- To select the TV source, press the button on the soundbar or TV on the remote control.
- "TV" will be displayed, indicating the TV source is selected.
- The TV source is selected by default in factory settings.
NOTE:
If the soundbar is connected to the TV via both HDMI cable and optical cable, the HDMI cable input will be selected for the connection.
7.2.1 TV Remote Control Setup
To use your TV's remote control to operate your TV and soundbar, your TV must support HDMI-CEC. If your TV does not support HDMI-CEC, follow the instructions in the "IR Learning from TV Remote" section.
HDMI-CEC
If your TV supports HDMI-CEC, enable the functions as specified in your TV's manual. You can control the soundbar's volume +/-, mute, power, and standby mode using your TV remote.
IR Learning from TV Remote
With IR learning, you can program the soundbar to receive IR commands from your TV remote, and then use your TV remote for simple commands.
- On the soundbar, press and hold the button and + until "LEARNING" is displayed.
- The soundbar enters TV remote learning mode.
- Point your TV remote at the soundbar. Follow the on-screen instructions to operate the buttons on your TV remote control:
- When "POWER", "VOL+", "VOL-", or "MUTE" is displayed on the soundbar, press the corresponding button on your TV remote.
- "DONE" will be displayed, indicating these commands have been learned by the soundbar.
- The soundbar will return to the last selected source.
- To exit TV remote learning mode, press and hold the and + buttons on the soundbar until "EXIT LEARNING" is displayed.
- The learned functions will be discarded.
NOTE:
The soundbar will automatically exit TV remote learning mode if no action is taken for 30 seconds. The learned functions will be discarded.
7.3 Playback via HDMI IN
The connection diagram shown allows you to play video from a digital device on your TV and audio through the soundbar's speakers.

- Ensure the soundbar is correctly connected to your TV and digital device (see "5.1 Connecting to TV and Digital Devices").
- Turn on the digital device.
- The TV and soundbar will automatically wake from standby mode and switch to the input source.
- To select an HDMI IN source on the soundbar, press the button on the soundbar or HDMI on the remote control.
NOTE:
Full compatibility with all HDMI-CEC devices is not guaranteed.
7.4 Playback from Bluetooth Source
You can stream audio from a Bluetooth device to the soundbar via Bluetooth.

- To select the Bluetooth source, press the button on the soundbar or remote control.
- Ensure the soundbar is correctly paired with your Bluetooth device (see "5.2 Connecting to a Bluetooth Device").
- Start playing audio on your Bluetooth device.
- Alternatively, use the remote control to manage playback.
- Adjust the volume on the soundbar, remote control, or Bluetooth device.
7.5 Playback via Your Home Network
NOTES:
- The soundbar can support audio streaming, but not video streaming.
- When streaming music over Wi-Fi, music playback will pause on the currently connected device when you start playing music on a second connected device.
- When switching the soundbar from a Wi-Fi home network to a wired network while using AirPlay, music playback will pause and resume after a few minutes, depending on the streaming bandwidth.
- To connect the soundbar to a wired home network, see "5.3 Connecting to Your Home Network".
Before you begin, ensure that:
- Your Android or iOS device is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the soundbar (see "5.3 Connecting to Your Home Network").
7.5.1 Playback with Google Cast
With Google Cast, you can stream audio from your Android or iOS device to the soundbar.
On your Android or iOS device:
- Launch the JBL One app and ensure you have enabled Google Cast.
- In a Google Cast-enabled app, when playing music, tap the cast icon and select the connected soundbar.
7.5.2 Playback via Spotify Connect
With Spotify Connect, you can stream audio from your Android or iOS device to the soundbar.
NOTE:
A subscription is required to use Spotify Connect.
On your Android or iOS device:
- Launch the Spotify app and select a song to play.
- Tap the speaker icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select the connected soundbar from the device list and start streaming audio.
7.5.3 Playback via Tidal Connect
With Tidal Connect, you can stream audio from your Android or iOS device to the soundbar.
NOTE:
A subscription is required to use Tidal Connect.
On your Android or iOS device:
- Launch the Tidal app and select a song to play.
- Tap the device selector icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
- Select the connected soundbar from the device list and start streaming audio.
7.5.4 Playback via AirPlay
With AirPlay, you can stream audio from your iOS device to the soundbar.
On your iOS device:
- Swipe down from the top-right corner to access the Control Center.
- Tap to select the connected soundbar, and then start streaming audio from the app.
7.5.5 Playback via JBL One App
With the JBL One app, stream audio from enabled music services to the soundbar.
On your Android or iOS device:
- Launch the JBL One app, browse available music services to select music, and then start streaming music to the connected soundbar.
NOTE:

7.6 Multi-Room Playback
With multi-room playback functionality, you can stream music from your Android or iOS device to multiple Google Cast / AirPlay-enabled speakers.
7.6.1 Google Cast
- Using the Google Home app, connect multiple Google Cast-enabled speakers to the same network, place them in different rooms, and create groups as needed.
- Launch a Google Cast-enabled app on your smartphone or tablet.
- Play music. Tap the icon and select the grouped speakers.
NOTES:
- To create speaker groups for multi-room playback in the Google Home app, ensure all speakers are connected to the same home network and use the same Google account. Refer to the Google Home app for more details.
- Depending on your local network's bandwidth, you can stream music to up to 6 Google Cast speakers.
7.6.2 AirPlay
- Access the Control Center on your iOS device.
- Tap to select multiple connected speakers as needed.
- Start streaming audio from the app.
8. ADVANCED USAGE
8.1 Audio Synchronization
The audio synchronization feature allows you to synchronize audio and video so that audio plays without delay.
- On the remote control, press and hold TV for more than 3 seconds, then press +.
- "SYNC>" will be displayed.
- Within 5 seconds, press + or - on the remote control to adjust the audio delay to match the video.
- The audio sync interval will be displayed.
NOTE:
You can also adjust the audio delay via the JBL One app.
8.2 Connecting Multiple Speakers (Detachable Speakers)
You can connect multiple JBL speakers via Auracast to create a party atmosphere with enhanced sound.
9. RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS
To restore factory settings, press and hold the , +, and - buttons for more than 5 seconds.
- "RESET" will be displayed.
- After restoring factory settings, the soundbar will automatically restart.
10. SOFTWARE UPDATE
Connect the soundbar to your TV. Online updates will be performed automatically when software updates are available.
- "WAIT": Software update in progress.
- "DONE": Software update completed.
NOTE:
Software updates are synchronized with the detachable speakers when they are connected to the soundbar or docked.
11. RECONNECTING THE SUBWOOFER
The soundbar and subwoofer are paired at the factory. They pair and connect automatically when powered on. In some cases, re-pairing may be necessary.
Subwoofer Pairing Mode Transition
- On the rear panel of the subwoofer, press and hold the button until it flashes white rapidly.
- To put the soundbar into subwoofer pairing mode, press and hold the button on the remote control for more than 3 seconds, then press the button on the remote control.
- "SUB PAIRING": Subwoofer is ready for pairing.
- "SUB PAIRED": Subwoofer is connected.
NOTE:
If pairing is not completed within 3 minutes, the subwoofer will exit pairing mode and enter standby mode. The indicator will change from flashing white to off. To re-enter pairing mode, press the button.

13. TROUBLESHOOTING
System
The device does not turn on.
- Check if the power cord is plugged into the outlet and the soundbar.
The soundbar does not respond to button presses.
- Reset the soundbar to factory settings (see "9. RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS").
Sound
No sound from the soundbar
- Ensure the soundbar is not muted.
- Select the correct audio source on the remote control.
- Ensure the soundbar is properly connected to your TV or other devices.
- Reset the soundbar to factory settings (see "9. RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS").
Distorted sound or echo
- If sound is playing from the TV through the soundbar, ensure the TV's sound is muted or the TV's built-in speakers are not active.
Audio and video are not synchronized.
- Enable the audio synchronization feature to synchronize audio and video (see "8.1 Audio Synchronization").
No height sound effects from Dolby Atmos
- If your TV only supports HDMI ARC, ensure you connect your digital device to the soundbar via the HDMI IN port on the soundbar (see "5.1.2 TV (HDMI ARC)").
- Enjoy Dolby Atmos height effects when watching movies from a TV/HDMI source. Dolby Atmos is not supported when playing audio via Bluetooth or in streaming apps (except for Google Cast or AirPlay).
Bluetooth
The device cannot connect to the soundbar.
- Check if Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
- If the soundbar is connected to another Bluetooth device, reset Bluetooth (see "5.2.3 Connecting to another Bluetooth device").
- If your Bluetooth device was previously paired with the soundbar, reset Bluetooth on the soundbar, disconnect the device, and then pair your Bluetooth device with the soundbar again (see "5.2.3 Connecting to another Bluetooth device").
Poor sound quality from a connected Bluetooth device
- Poor Bluetooth reception. Move the source device closer to the soundbar or remove any obstructions between the source device and the soundbar.
The connected Bluetooth device keeps turning on and off.

Wi-Fi Network
Wi-Fi connection error.
- Ensure Wi-Fi is enabled.
- Ensure you have selected the correct network and entered the correct password.
- Ensure your router or modem is powered on and within range.
- Ensure your router settings have WPA2 or Auto security type selected.
- Ensure the soundbar is connected to the same wireless local network as your smartphone or tablet.
- If you encounter difficulties with Wi-Fi setup, re-enter Wi-Fi setup mode by pressing and holding + and on the soundbar until "SETUP WIFI" is displayed.
Playback
AirPlay does not detect the soundbar as an AirPlay speaker for music streaming.
- On your Apple device, update the software to the latest version: iOS 13.4 or later, Mac OS 10.15.4 or later, or TV OS 14.3.
- Ensure your Apple device is connected to the same network as the soundbar.
- For PCs with iTunes installed for Windows, you can stream music from your PC to the soundbar via Bluetooth.
Music playback is interrupted when switching audio sources from Bluetooth to Google Cast or AirPlay.
- Audio streaming and playback quality depend on the traffic and coverage of the network connecting the soundbar and the streaming devices, such as smartphones, tablets, and personal computers.
Music playback does not resume when switching audio sources from Bluetooth to TV / HDMI IN and back to Bluetooth.
- Music playback on the Bluetooth device stops when the audio source switches from Bluetooth to TV / HDMI IN. When you reconnect to the Bluetooth source, start playing music on the Bluetooth device again.
