1. Basic Function
This document provides instructions for the SK-053TM, a 3-channel Bluetooth + 2.4G + Wired illuminated mechanical keyboard.
1.1 Connectivity Modes
- Bluetooth Mode: To connect via Bluetooth, press
FN + PGDN
(for BT1) orFN + END
(for BT2). The LED indicator under the respective button will flash slowly for approximately 3-5 seconds and then turn off once connected. - 2.4G Mode: Connect the included nano receiver to a USB port. Then, press
FN + PGUP
to activate 2.4G mode. The LED indicator under the PGUP button will flash slowly for 3-5 seconds and turn off upon connection. - Wired Mode: Connect the keyboard using the provided USB cable. Press
FN + HOME
to activate wired mode. The LED indicator under the HOME button will flash slowly for 3-5 seconds and turn off upon connection.
Bluetooth Pairing: When in Bluetooth mode, press FN + PGDN
(BT1) or FN + END
(BT2) for about 3 seconds to initiate pairing. The white LED will flash quickly for up to 3 minutes while searching. Connect to the device named "K840T Keyboard BT" from your Bluetooth settings.
1.2 System Switching (Bluetooth Mode)
Under Bluetooth mode, press FN + Q
, FN + W
, or FN + E
to switch between Android, Windows, and iOS systems, respectively.
1.3 Hotkey Functions
The following table details the hotkey functions available when pressing the FN
key in combination with the F1-F12 keys. FN + W
is the default setting for Windows.

Note: For specific codes (e.g., PrtSc, Scrlk, Pause), a long press of FN + [Code Key]
(indicated by white light slow flash) activates the function, while a short press is used for channel switching.
1.4 On/Off Switch
Press the switch to the ON position for operation in 2.4G or Bluetooth mode.
1.5 2.4G Nano Receiver Location
The 2.4G nano receiver is stored in a compartment on the bottom case of the keyboard.
1.6 Compatible Systems (Bluetooth Mode)
- Windows: Windows 8.0 or later
- macOS: iOS 10.10 or later
- Android: Android 4.3 or later
The keyboard is also compatible with Windows XP/Vista/7/8/10 systems when used in wired or 2.4G mode.
1.7 LED Indicators
- ? : CAPS LOCK Indicator (White LED)

Press FN + [Key]
to activate gaming mode. When the gaming mode indicator is lit, certain keys may have no function.

2. Illumination Control
This section details the keyboard's lighting features, including standard gaming backlights, custom backlight functions, and various LED lighting effects.
2.1 Standard Gaming Backlight & Custom Backlight Function

2.2 LED Lighting Effects
The keyboard supports a variety of LED lighting effects, with a standard mode offering 16 distinct lighting modes.
- Wired Mode: Supports 6-key rollover and N-key rollover. E-banking password entry is not affected. Backlight turns off when the computer enters sleep or standby mode, and turns ON when the computer starts.
- 2.4G or Bluetooth Mode: Backlight turns off after 1 minute of keyboard inactivity. Press any key to turn the backlight back ON.
2.3 Backlight Control
Clear Lighting Record: Press and hold FN + SPACE
for 3 seconds to clear lighting records and restore the default lighting mode.
Backlit Modes Selection (FN + PRTSCRN)
FN + PRTSCRN
is used to select among 16 illumination modes.
Mode 1: All Keys Backlit-On Mode (Default)
- Adjust brightness: Press
FN + ↑ / ↓
for 5 levels of brightness adjustment.
Mode 2: Breathing Rhythm
The overall backlight simulates a breathing rhythm, with brightness changing from off to maximum. Brightness and respiration rate are subject to previous memory settings.

Mode 3: Default Lightening with Delayed Key Response
The default backlight is on. When a button is pressed, its corresponding LED turns off. After releasing the button, the backlight illuminates with a delay.

Mode 4: Sparkling Water Effect
The backlight moves from left to right, simulating sparkling water.

Mode 5: Center Spread Effect
The keyboard backlight brightness spreads outwards from the center, with a focus around the "P" key area.

Mode 6: Wave Flow Effect (Left to Right)
Keyboard backlight brightness flows from left to right, like a constantly surging wave.

Keyboard backlight brightness gradually gathers from the center to the left and right, like a constantly surging wave.

Mode 8: Scattered Light Waves
The overall backlight is turned off. Each time a button is pressed, two light waves scatter outwards from the button.

Mode 9: Key Press Reactive Lighting
The backlight is off by default. Each time a key is pressed, a line of keys lights up.

Mode 10: Button Press Highlight
The default backlight is off. When a button is pressed, its corresponding LED lights up. After releasing the button, the backlight turns off.

Mode 11: Reactive Spread Lighting
The default backlight is on. When a button is pressed, its LED turns off and spreads to the whole keyboard, after which the backlight turns ON again.

Mode 12: ESC to Keycap Sweep
The backlight runs sequentially from the ESC key to all other keycaps.

Mode 13: Blinking Star Effect
The backlight blinks like stars. The blinking speed and quantity can be adjusted by the user.

Mode 14: Two-Line Running Effect
The backlight runs to and fro, separated by two lines.

The keyboard background is LED off, with a colorful light wave flying upwards.

2.4 Game Mode and Key Custom Settings
This section outlines predefined game modes and custom lighting settings.

2.5 Light Custom Settings
- Record/Save: Press

to enter the corresponding custom mode. - Activate/Deactivate Custom State: Press any key to turn the specified state ON or OFF.

to clear light recording and restore the default lighting mode.
3. FCC Warning Statement
Changes or modifications not expressly approved by the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation.
