Usage
Sleep Mode & Reconnection
Sleep Mode: The gamepad automatically enters sleep mode if no operation is performed for 5 minutes.
Reconnection: Press the HOME button to reconnect to the last connected mode.
Power Off: Press and hold the HOME button for approximately 3-5 seconds. The controller will turn off, and all LED indicators will extinguish.
RGB Lighting Control
Press the dedicated button to cycle through lighting modes: RGB breathing effect → static backlight (color cycling stops) → backlight off.
Connectivity Modes
Android V3 Mode (Key Mapping)
Steps:
- Press A + HOME to turn on the gamepad. LED 1 will flash, waiting for pairing.
- On your Android device, open Settings and then Bluetooth.
- Scan for devices, find "GT-88", and tap to pair and connect automatically.
- Upon successful connection, LED 1 will remain lit.
Button Mapping Configuration
The gamepad has a built-in memory chip allowing players to save button settings for up to 4 different mobile games. Configurations can be switched during gameplay.
For games without official button configurations, custom mapping can be set up.
To customize button mapping:
- Download and install the "ShootingPlus" app from the Google Play Store.
- Open the "ShootingPlus" app.
- Connect the controller to your Android device and open the app.
- Enter a game, press the "START" button on the controller to bring up the key mapping menu.
- Drag and drop virtual buttons to match your preferred layout.
- Click "Save" and then "Close" to enjoy your games.
Note: Pressing the SELECT button in-game shows the current button configuration. Pressing START initiates editing.
Resetting Configuration: Open the app, go to Settings > Advanced Settings > Reset Device.
Note after reset: Disconnect and reconnect the gamepad.
Android Game Controller Mode
- Press X + HOME to turn on the gamepad. LED 3 will flash, waiting for pairing.
- On your Android device, open Settings and then Bluetooth.
- Scan for devices, find "GT-88", and tap to pair and connect automatically.
- Upon successful connection, LED 3 will remain lit.
Xbox Wireless Controller Mode (Android & iOS 13.0+)
- Press R1 + HOME to turn on the gamepad. LEDs 1, 2, 3 will flash, waiting for pairing.
- On your Android/iOS device, open Settings and then Bluetooth.
- Scan for devices, find "Xbox Wireless Controller", and tap to pair and connect automatically.
- Upon successful connection, LEDs 1, 2, 3 will remain lit.
MFI Controller Mode (iOS 13.0+)
- Press B + HOME to turn on the gamepad. LED 4 will flash, waiting for pairing.
- On your iOS device, open Settings and then Bluetooth.
- Scan for devices, find "DUALSHORCK4" (or similar MFI identifier), and tap to pair and connect automatically.
- Upon successful connection, LED 4 will remain lit.
PS4/PS3 Controller Mode
- Connect the controller to your PS4/PS3 console using the Type-C cable. LEDs 1, 2, 3 will light up upon console recognition.
- Press the HOME button to initiate pairing with the console. LED 4 will flash.
- After a few seconds, LED 4 will remain lit. The controller is connected to PS4/PS3.
- Disconnect the cable for wireless connection.
Switch Controller Mode
Ensure Airplane Mode is OFF on the Switch console before connecting.
- Turn on the Switch console and navigate to Controller settings.
- Select "Find Controllers" or "Pairing New Controllers".
- Press L1 + HOME on the gamepad until 4 LEDs flash, waiting for connection.
- The controller should automatically connect to the console within 5-7 seconds.
PC Wired Controller Mode (X-Input / D-Input)
Connect the controller to your PC via the Type-C cable. Once recognized by Windows, the controller will function, and LEDs 1, 2, 3 will remain lit.
Switching between X-Input and D-Input: Long-press the HOME button in X-Input mode to switch to D-Input mode.
Turbo/Auto Function
Applicable Buttons: A, B, X, Y, L, ZL, R, ZR.
To Enable/Disable Turbo Speed:
- Simultaneously press the TURBO button and a function button to activate Turbo speed.
- Repeat step 1 to deactivate Turbo.
To Adjust Turbo Speed:
Simultaneously press the TURBO button and the directional pad (Up/Down):
- TURBO + Up: Increase Turbo speed.
- TURBO + Down: Decrease Turbo speed.
To Clear Turbo Function: Press and hold the TURBO button for 5 seconds. LEDs 1, 2, 3, 4 will light up and flash with vibration for 1 second, clearing all Turbo functions.
Troubleshooting & FAQ
Resetting the Controller
If the controller disconnects after charging or during gameplay, reset it by pressing the RESET button with a pin.
Common Problems:
- Problem: LED4 does not blink when connected to Switch. Solution: Ensure wired communication mode is disabled in Switch settings if it auto-switches. Turn off Pro Controller Wired Communication in system settings.
- Problem: Joystick gets stuck after extended use. Solution: Firmly press the affected button to resolve the issue.
- Problem: Controller not charging fully. Solution: Turn off RGB lighting. Use a 5V 1A power adapter for charging.
- Problem: Controller not charging. Solution: Ensure ambient temperature is between 2°C and 45°C.
- Problem: Controller cannot be turned off after pressing HOME; RGB lights remain on. Solution: Try pressing the RESET button. If connected via Key Linker app, disable Bluetooth on the mobile device.
General Troubleshooting:
If the gamepad does not vibrate or is not recognized:
- Check if the game supports vibration effects.
- Verify connector integrity.
- Check device connection.
- Check device settings.
- Disconnect and reconnect the device; restart the device.
If the problem persists, contact your local dealer.
