Cleaning

Remove any loose items from the floor before cleaning. Run the robot regularly to keep your floors consistently clean and tidy.

Starting/Pausing/Resuming Cleaning:

Automatic Dirt Disposal:

Your robot automatically explores and cleans your home. At the end of a cleaning mission and when it needs to recharge, it will return to the Clean Base on its own.

To send the robot back to the Clean Base, tap the ? icon. A blue light ring pattern indicates the robot is searching for the Clean Base.

If your robot detects a particularly dirty area, it will switch to Dirt Detect™ mode and pass over the area multiple times until it determines the area is sufficiently clean. The light ring indicator will blink blue.

Tap the ? icon to clean a specific area in SPOT Cleaning mode. For cleaning, the robot will spiral outwards from a central point approximately one meter in diameter, then spiral back to its starting point. The light ring indicator will show a blue spiral.

Roomba Combo™™™ Bin

Filling the Bin:

  1. Slide the pad down over the guide. Press the pad onto the plate to secure it.
  2. Fill the Combo Bin with water in the designated water tank. You can also use a compatible cleaning solution. Compatible cleaning solutions are listed at answers.irobot.com/s/roomba-combo-cleanser.

NOTICE: The bin begins to moisten the pad as soon as water is added to the tank.

Replacing the Bin:
