APP "Lufitcode" Setting Guide
How to Ensure Proper Watch Functionality and Prevent Disconnection
Follow these steps to ensure your smartwatch connects and operates correctly with the Lufitcode app.
- Ensure your smartphone's software version is Android 5.0 or iOS 9.0 or above, and Bluetooth 4.0 or above.
- Check if the watch is connected to another phone. Swipe down on the watch face and look for the "BLE" icon. If it is green, the watch is connected to another device; unbind it first.
- Important: Do not connect the watch directly via your smartphone's Bluetooth settings. This can prevent the app from connecting and may disable certain watch features. If you have previously connected via Bluetooth, forget the device in your phone's Bluetooth settings before connecting through the app.
- Enable Bluetooth and GPS Location on your smartphone. It is recommended to close all other apps and reopen them before proceeding. Then, use the "ADD DEVICE" option within the Lufitcode app, not your phone's Bluetooth settings.
- Maintain a clear line of sight between the watch and your smartphone. The optimal connection range is up to 10 meters (approximately 33 feet) without barriers.
- Charge your watch promptly when the battery is low. The Bluetooth function will automatically turn off when the battery level drops below 10%.
- Ensure the watch screen is active when the mobile app is searching for the Bluetooth device. An active watch screen emits a 30-second broadcast signal, allowing the watch to reconnect within this period.
- If the above steps do not resolve the issue, try resetting the watch: swipe down to Settings, select Reset, and then Turn Off. Delete the Lufitcode app from your smartphone, turn off your phone, and then restart it. (For iPhones, you can ignore the "SmartWatch" entry in phone settings > Bluetooth).
- Reinstall the Lufitcode app. During installation, ensure you grant the app permission to access phone information, set background running permissions, ignore battery optimization for the app, and add the app to your phone's whitelist. Refer to specific background setting videos for devices like Samsung phones if needed.
