This document provides installation instructions for Miele fully integrated dishwashers. Please read the Operating/Installation and Important Safety Instructions before proceeding.
General Installation Notes
Dimensions: Minimum height for standard models is 815 mm (32 1/16"), and for XXL models is 855 mm (33 11/16"). Ensure adequate clearance for hoses.
Fittings: Supplied fittings depend on the model. Refer to the operating instructions for details.
Tools: Required tools vary by model.
Electrical Connection: Ensure correct voltage, rated load, and fuse rating. Warning: Risk of damage or fire hazard.
Water Inlet Hose: If the hose is coiled under the dishwasher, the undercounter height must be at least 835 mm (32 7/8") for standard models or 885 mm (34 13/16") for XXL models. Do not sit the dishwasher on the hose. Ensure the hose is free of kinks and can move freely. Avoid placing the hose or power cord near heat sources or corrosive substances. Warning: Damage to the hose or power cord can cause electrical shock or water damage.
Front Panel Installation: The minimum/maximum weight of the front panel is specified in the technical data on the Miele website. Ensure door springs are set equally on both sides after securing the front panel.
Adjusting Feet: Screw in the feet before moving the dishwasher.
Venting the Water Drainage: If the drainage connection is lower than the guide path for the lower basket rollers, the drainage system must be vented.
Sharp Edges: Be aware of sharp edges that can damage the power cord and hoses. If the cabinet dividing panel is wood, round off the edges of the cut-out with sandpaper.
