Carrier Ductless to BACnet MS/TP Gateway
The Intesis BACnet gateway facilitates the connection of a single Carrier Ductless Indoor Unit to a BACnet control system, enabling bi-directional control and monitoring.
Direct Connection to Indoor Units
The gateway connects directly to the Ductless indoor unit, allowing control over main AC functions such as operating mode, fan speed, and temperature setpoint. It also enables monitoring of errors, alarms, and internal variables.
Fast and Easy Setup via DIP-SW
Installation and setup are streamlined. The process involves wiring the gateway to the AC unit, connecting a 12 VDC/AC power supply (field-supplied), and configuring the DIP-switches. No configuration software is required.

- Provides total control and monitoring of the AC unit from BACnet, including internal variables, running hours counter (for filter maintenance), and indoor unit error codes.
- Bidirectional communication of Air Conditioning unit properties and functionalities as BACnet Objects.
- Requires a 12 VDC/AC power supply (Field Procured).
- Mountable on DIN rail, wall, or in a Field Procured enclosure.
- Compact dimensions: 93 x 53 x 58 mm.
- Configured using on-board DIP-switches; no software needed.
Compatibility
Only specific Carrier DLS indoor product families have been tested for compatibility with the Intesis BACnet MS/TP 1:1 gateway (INBACMID001I100). Backward compatibility for ductless indoor units and compatibility with future versions are not guaranteed.
