WEEE Warning
The Directive of the European Parliament and Council on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), which entered into force on 13 February 2003, has introduced a significant change in the treatment of electrical equipment after the end of its service life.
The aim of this directive is to prevent the generation of WEEE, as well as to promote the reuse, recycling and other forms of recovery of such waste and the reduction of its volume.
The WEEE marking [[Symbol of a crossed-out wheeled bin]] on the product or its packaging means that this product must not be disposed of with household waste. You are responsible for disposing of all waste electrical and electronic equipment only at designated collection and recycling facilities for such hazardous waste.
Separate collection and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment contributes to the conservation of natural resources. Recycling of electrical equipment ensures the protection of human health and the environment.
For more information on the disposal and recycling of waste electrical and electronic equipment and for collection points, please contact your local municipal council, household waste disposal services, the retailer where you purchased this device, or the manufacturer.
