Move the power switch to the 'ON' or 'OFF' position.
Pairing
Before first use, pair the headset with a Bluetooth-enabled device. There are two pairing methods:
1) Easy Pairing
a) Move the Power Switch to the "ON" position. The headset will automatically enter pairing mode if it's the first time pairing or if no paired device is in range after 10 seconds. The LED indicator will be solid blue.
b) On your device, navigate to the Bluetooth menu and search for or add new devices.
c) Select "LG HBS-700" from the list.
d) If prompted, enter the Pass/Pin Code: 0000.
e) A beep will confirm successful pairing.
Note: The HBS-700 will turn off automatically if not paired within 3 minutes.
2) Manual Pairing (Pairing with another phone or re-pairing)
a) With the headset powered off, press and hold the CALL button while simultaneously moving the power switch to the 'ON' position for 4 seconds.
b) The LED indicator will show a solid blue light, indicating pairing mode. Follow steps c through f from Easy Pairing.
Multi-connection
This mode allows connection to two devices simultaneously. One device can be used for calls, while the other is for audio streaming. To enter Multi-Connection mode:
- Connect the HBS-700 to the device for making calls.
- Power off the HBS-700.
- Put the HBS-700 into pairing mode and connect to a Bluetooth Stereo enabled audio device (supporting A2DP/AVRCP profiles, not headset/hands-free profiles).
- Once connected, briefly press the CALL button on the HBS-700 to reconnect with the handset (headset/hands-free profile).
Note: At least one device must support profile selection, or only one profile (Headset/Hands-Free or A2DP/AVRCP) for multi-connection. For example, two handsets supporting both profiles cannot connect simultaneously. A handset with all profiles and a Bluetooth Stereo Dongle with A2DP/AVRCP is compatible.
Auto Reconnect
If the HBS-700 is turned off while connected, it will automatically reconnect when turned back on within range.
Out of Range
If paired devices are separated by more than 33 feet (10 meters), they will disconnect. To reconnect manually, briefly press the CALL button when back in range.

Additional Information
1. Radio frequency exposure
This Bluetooth® Stereo Headset HBS-700 is a radio transmitter and receiver. It communicates with Bluetooth® equipped mobile devices by receiving and transmitting radio frequency (RF) electromagnetic fields (microwaves) in the 2.4 to 2.4835 GHz range. The output power is low (0.001 watts). The headset is designed to comply with RF exposure guidelines and limits set by national authorities and international health agencies when used with compatible LG Electronics mobile phones.
2. Potentially explosive atmosphere
Turn off your electronic device in any area with a potentially explosive atmosphere. Sparks from electronic devices can cause explosions or fires. Areas with potentially explosive atmospheres are often clearly marked.
3. Emergency calls
IMPORTANT! This Bluetooth® headset and connected devices rely on radio signals, mobile/landline networks, and user-programmed functions, which cannot guarantee connection under all conditions. Never rely solely on electronic devices for essential communications like medical emergencies. For calls, the headset and device must be switched on and within adequate mobile signal strength. Emergency calls may not be possible on all networks or if certain network services/phone features are in use. Check with your local service provider.
4. Battery information
A rechargeable battery has a long service life if treated properly. A new battery or one not used for a long period may have reduced capacity initially. Do not expose the battery to extreme temperatures: above +60°C (+140°F) or below -20°C (-4°F). For maximum capacity, use the battery at room temperature. Low temperatures reduce battery capacity. The battery can only be charged between +10°C (+50°F) and +45°C (+113°F). For safety, do not remove the battery. Contact an authorized LG Electronics service point or dealer for replacement.
5. Recycling the battery in your Bluetooth® headset
The battery must be disposed of properly and not placed in municipal waste. The LG Electronics service partner who removes the battery will dispose of it according to local regulations.
6. Conditions
The warranty is valid only with the original receipt showing the date of purchase and serial number. LG Electronics may refuse warranty service if this information is altered. Repaired or replaced products are warranted for the remaining original warranty period or 90 days from repair, whichever is longer. Reconditioned units may be used. Replaced parts become LG Electronics property.
This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, misuse, accidents, modifications, or damage from liquids. Service performed by non-LG Electronics authorized personnel or tampering with seals voids the warranty.
There are no express warranties other than this printed one. Implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose are limited to the duration of this limited warranty. LG Electronics and its vendors are not liable for incidental or consequential damages, including lost profits or commercial loss, to the extent permitted by law.
Some regions may not allow limitations on incidental/consequential damages or implied warranty duration. This warranty does not affect statutory consumer rights or rights against the dealer arising from the sales contract.
Limited Warranty
Subject to the conditions of this Limited Warranty, LG Electronics warrants this product to be free from defects in design, material, and workmanship at the time of its original purchase by a consumer, and for a subsequent period of one (1) year. For warranty service, return the product to the dealer or contact your local LG Electronics contact centre.
Important Safety Information
Avoiding Hearing Damage
Permanent hearing loss may occur if you use your headset at high volume. Set the volume to a safe level. Over time, you may become accustomed to higher volumes that can damage your hearing. If you experience ringing in your ears or muffled speech, stop listening and have your hearing checked. The louder the volume, the less time is required before hearing may be affected.
Hearing experts suggest:
- Limit the time spent using the headset at high volume.
- Avoid turning up the volume to block out noisy surroundings.
- Turn the volume down if you cannot hear people speaking near you.
Using Headsets Safely
Using headsets to listen to music while operating a vehicle is not recommended and may be illegal. Be careful and attentive while driving. Stop using this device if it is disruptive or distracting while operating any vehicle or performing any activity requiring your full attention.
