SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: The unit and accessories may contain small parts. Keep all equipment out of the reach of small children. The mains adapter is the disconnect device between the product and mains power. The mains socket outlet must be close to the equipment and easily accessible.
Network services and costs
Your device is approved for use on GSM 850/900/1800/1900 MHz networks. A subscription with a service provider is required. Using network services may incur costs. Some features require network support, which may need a separate subscription.
Operating environment
Follow all applicable rules and laws. Always turn off the unit when its use is prohibited or can cause interference or hazards. Only use the unit in its normal user position. Parts of the unit are magnetic and can attract metal objects. Do not keep credit cards or other magnetic media near the unit, as stored information may be erased.
Medical units
Equipment transmitting radio signals, like mobile phones, can interfere with insufficiently protected medical equipment. Consult a doctor or the equipment manufacturer to determine if it has adequate protection against external radio signals. If health care facilities display notices instructing you to turn off the unit, comply with them. Hospitals and health care facilities may use equipment sensitive to external radio signals.
Implanted medical devices
To avoid potential interference, manufacturers of implanted medical devices recommend a minimum separation of 15 cm between a wireless device and the medical device. Persons with such devices should: Always keep the wireless device more than 15 cm from the medical device. Not carry the wireless device in a breast pocket. Hold the wireless device to the ear opposite the medical device. If you suspect interference, turn the phone off immediately. Consult your health care provider if you have questions about using your wireless device with an implanted medical device.
Areas with explosion risk
Always turn off the unit in areas where there is a risk of explosion. Follow all signs and instructions. This includes areas where you are normally asked to turn off your car engine, as sparks can cause explosion or fire, leading to personal injury or death. Turn off the unit at filling stations, fuel pumps, and auto repair facilities. Follow restrictions for radio equipment use near places where fuel is stored/sold, chemical factories, and blasting sites. Areas with explosion risk are often marked, but not always. This also applies to below decks on ships; transport/storage of chemicals; vehicles using liquid fuel (e.g., propane, butane); and areas where the air contains chemicals or particles like grain, dust, or metal powder.
Li-ion battery
WARNING: This product contains a Li-ion battery. Risk of fire and burns if handled improperly. Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. To reduce risk of fire or burns, do not disassemble, crush, puncture, short external contacts, expose to temperatures above 60°C (140°F), or dispose of in fire or water. Recycle or dispose of used batteries according to local regulations or the supplied reference guide.
Protect your hearing
WARNING: Excessive exposure to loud sounds can cause hearing damage. Loud sounds while driving may distract you and cause an accident. Listen to a headset at a moderate level, and do not hold the device near your ear when the loudspeaker is in use.
Emergency calls
Important! Mobile phones use radio signals, the mobile network, the terrestrial network, and user-programmed functions. Connection cannot be guaranteed in all circumstances. Never rely solely on a mobile phone for very important calls, such as medical emergencies.
Vehicles
Radio signals can affect electronic systems in motor vehicles (e.g., electronic fuel injection, ABS brakes, cruise control, airbag systems) if incorrectly installed or inadequately protected. Contact the manufacturer or representative for more information about your vehicle or additional equipment. Do not keep or transport flammable liquids, gases, or explosives with the unit or its accessories. For vehicles with airbags: Airbags deploy with considerable force. Do not place objects, including radio equipment, in the area above the airbag or where it might expand. Serious injuries may result if mobile phone equipment is incorrectly installed and the airbag deploys. It is prohibited to use the unit in flight. Turn off the unit before boarding a plane. Using wireless telecom units on a plane can pose risks to air safety, interfere with telecommunications, and may be illegal.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Your unit is a technically advanced product and should be treated with great care. Negligence may void the warranty. Protect the unit from moisture. Rain, snowfall, moisture, and all types of liquid can contain substances that corrode electronic circuits. If the unit gets wet, remove the battery and allow it to dry completely before replacing it. Do not use or keep the unit in dusty, dirty environments, as moving parts and electronic components can be damaged. Do not keep the unit in warm places, as high temperatures can reduce lifespan, damage batteries, and distort or melt plastics. Do not keep the unit in cold places; condensation may form when it warms up, potentially damaging circuits. Do not try to open the unit except as indicated. Do not drop or shake the unit; rough treatment can break circuits and precision mechanics. Do not use strong chemicals to clean the unit. The advice applies to the unit, battery, mains adapter, and accessories. If the phone is not working correctly, contact the place of purchase for service, providing the receipt or invoice copy.
WARRANTY
This product is guaranteed for 24 months from the date of purchase. In case of a fault, contact the place of purchase. Proof of purchase is required for service or support. This guarantee does not apply to faults caused by accident, similar incidents, damage, liquid ingress, negligence, abnormal usage, lack of maintenance, or other user-related circumstances. It also does not apply to faults caused by thunderstorms or voltage fluctuations. Disconnect the charger during thunderstorms as a precaution. Batteries are consumables and not included in the guarantee. This guarantee does not apply if non-Doro original batteries are used. Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)
This device meets applicable international safety requirements for exposure to radio waves. Your mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver designed not to exceed exposure limits recommended by international guidelines. The radio wave exposure guidelines use Specific Absorption Rate (SAR), with a limit of 2 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue, including a safety margin. Tests for SAR are conducted using standard operating positions at the device's highest certified power level. The highest SAR values for this device model are: Head SAR: 0.486 W/kg, Body SAR: 1.670 W/kg. During normal use, SAR values are typically well below stated values due to automatic power reduction. This device meets RF exposure guidelines when used against the head or positioned at least 0.5 cm away from the body. For body-worn operation using a holder, ensure it contains no metal and provides the stated separation distance.
The World Health Organization (WHO) states that current scientific information does not indicate the need for special precautions when using mobile devices. For reduced exposure, reduce usage or use a hands-free accessory to keep the device away from your head and body.
Correct disposal of this product (Waste Electrical & Electronic Equipment)
This marking on the product, accessories, or manual indicates that it and its electronic accessories should not be disposed of with household waste. Separate these items from other waste and recycle them responsibly to promote sustainable reuse of material resources. Household users should contact their retailer or local government office for recycling details. Business users should contact their supplier and check purchase contract terms. This product and its accessories should not be mixed with other commercial waste for disposal. This product is RoHS compliant.
Correct disposal of batteries in this product
The marking on the battery, manual, or packaging indicates that the battery should not be disposed of with household waste. Chemical symbols [mercury symbol] (Hg), [cadmium symbol] (Cd), or [lead symbol] (Pb) indicate the battery contains mercury, cadmium, or lead above specified levels. Improper disposal can harm human health or the environment. To protect natural resources and promote material reuse, separate batteries from other waste and recycle them through your local battery return system.
