Doro 7080 Quick Start Guide
This guide provides essential information to get you started with your Doro 7080 phone.
1. GET STARTED
When you first get your phone, there are a few actions you need to take before starting to use it.
Tip: Remove the plastic screen protector.
1.1. Unbox your new phone
Unbox the phone and assess the included items. Read through this guide to familiarize yourself with the equipment and basic functions. For the full manual, visit www.doro.com or contact the Doro Helpline. Items supplied may vary by region or service provider. Purchased accessories must be compatible with the device. Only use approved batteries, chargers, and accessories; using others may be dangerous and invalidate the warranty.
1.2. Charge
While the phone may have some charge, it is recommended to give it a full charge before first use.
Caution: Only use approved batteries, chargers, and accessories. Connecting other accessories may be dangerous and invalidate the phone's type approval and warranty.
When the battery is low, a [low battery indicator] appears and a warning signal is heard. Connect the mains adapter to a wall socket and the charging socket, or place the device in a charging cradle. Alternatively, connect the cable to the charging socket on the phone and to a USB port on a computer.
1.3. Save energy
When the battery is fully charged, disconnect the charger. The screen turns off after a while to save power; press any button to wake it up. Batteries degrade over time, reducing call and standby time. The device may feel warm during extended operation, which is normal. It may switch off during charging to prevent overheating.
1.4. Turn the phone on and off
- Press and hold the [red button] to turn the phone on and off.
- If the SIM card is protected by a PIN code, 'Enter SIM PIN' will appear. Enter the PIN code and press the [OK] button. Use the [Clear button] (X) to delete mistyped numbers.
Note: If PIN and PUK codes were not provided with your SIM card, contact your service provider. PIN and PUK codes may differ for SIM1 and SIM2 if you use multiple SIM cards.
If the maximum number of PIN attempts is reached, 'PIN blocked' appears. The SIM card must be unlocked with the PUK code. Enter the PUK code, confirm with [OK], enter a new PIN code, confirm with [OK], and re-enter the new PIN code, confirming with [OK].

Hearing aid
This device should work with most hearing aid equipment, but full compatibility cannot be promised.
Specific Absorption Rate (SAR)
This device meets applicable international safety requirements for radio wave exposure. The SAR limit for mobile devices is 2 W/kg averaged over 10 grams of tissue. Tests are conducted using standard operating positions. The highest SAR values for this model are: Head SAR: 0.620 W/kg, Body SAR: 1.261 W/kg. During normal use, SAR values are usually well below stated values due to automatic power reduction. This device meets RF exposure guidelines when used against the head or positioned at least 0.5 cm from the body. Use of a carry case or belt clip should not contain metal and should maintain the separation distance.
The World Health Organization (WHO) states current scientific information does not indicate a need for special precautions. To reduce exposure, reduce usage or use a hands-free accessory.
