This document provides step-by-step instructions for assembling the Elo Self-Service Stand.

This kit includes the Floor Base (Qty. 1).
Assembly Steps
Step 1: Assemble Tower to Base
Place the tower onto the floor base. Secure using (4) screws from bag "K".
Step 2: Attach Front Cover
- Remove and save the (4) screws on the left and right of the stand front cover.
- Pull off the silver cover and set aside.
- Add (2) remaining screws from bag "K" to the bottom front of the stand.
- Re-attach the silver cover using the saved screws.
Step 3: Remove Printer Tray
Remove and save (2) screws on the rear of the Head, then pull out the printer tray.
Step 4: Install Power Strip
Note: Power strip shown available from McMaster-Carr, item #7361K43.
- Add power strip brackets (supplied with power strip) using (2) screws from bag "L".
- Hook one side of the power strip onto the brackets, then push to snap down.
Step 5: Secure Power Bricks
Add power bricks into the tower using the provided straps.
Step 6: Mount Display Bracket
- Add (2) screws from bag "A" to the top of the stand head, leaving approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for the Display Bracket.
Step 7: Choose Display Bracket (Android or Windows)
For 15" or 22" monitors, use the appropriate Display Bracket.
- Remove and save (2) screws, open the cover of the Display Bracket; pivot out and fix the prop.
Step 8: Assemble Display Bracket to Head
- Assemble the Display Bracket onto the Head.
- Positioning:
- Position "A" for 15", 22" in landscape.
- Position "B" for 15" in portrait.
- Position "C" for 22" in portrait.
- Add (2) screws from bag "A" at the bottom holes, maintaining the ~3mm gap.
Step 9: Assemble USB Hub
- Assemble the USB Hub.
- Add (2) screws from bag "S"; leave approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for the USB bracket to slide on, then tighten screws.
Step 10: Android Slate - Landscape
Note: EMV Cradles are not compatible with Android Slate in landscape orientation.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the top 75mm VESA positions, leaving approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Connect the Slate Hub to the Slate and attach the cable cover before proceeding.
Step 11: Mount Android Slate
- Route the Slate Hub through the display bracket and head.
- Mount the Slate, add (2) screws from bag "L" to the bottom 75mm VESA positions.
- Add a tie-wrap as shown. Tighten VESA screws to 12 in-lb (1.4 N-m).
Step 12: Android Slate - Portrait
If using an EMV Cradle, follow those instructions before proceeding.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the top 75mm VESA positions, leaving approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Attach the Slate Hub and cable cover before mounting the display on the stand.
Step 13: Mount Android Slate (Portrait)
- Route the Slate Hub through the display bracket and head.
- Mount the Slate, add (2) screws from bag "L" to the bottom 75mm VESA positions.
- Add a tie-wrap as shown. Tighten VESA screws to 12 in-lb (1.4 N-m).
Step 14: Attach Slate Hub to Tower
- Apply double-sided foam tape from bag "U" to the back of the Slate Hub.
- Attach the Slate Hub to the back of the tower approximately where shown.
- Route the LAN cable through the tower base.
- Connect the LAN and power supply to the Slate Hub.
Step 15: Android or 15"/22" Monitor - Landscape
Note: EMV Cradles are not compatible with monitors in landscape orientation.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the top 100mm VESA positions, leaving approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Remove cable cover(s) before mounting the display on the stand.
Step 16: Mount Monitor (Landscape)
- Mount the I-Series monitor.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the bottom 100mm VESA positions.
- Route power and LAN cables through the bottom of the stand head. Route the USB Hub cable or other USB if used.
- Tighten VESA screws to 12 in-lb (1.4 N-m).
Step 17: Android or 15"/22" Monitor - Portrait
If using an EMV Cradle, follow those instructions before proceeding.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the top 75mm VESA positions, leaving approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Remove cable cover(s) before mounting the display on the stand.
Step 18: Mount Monitor (Portrait)
- Route the Slate Hub through the display bracket and head.
- Mount the I-Series monitor.
- Add (2) screws from bag "L" to the bottom 75mm VESA positions.
- Add a tie-wrap as shown.
- Route power and LAN cables through the bottom of the stand head. Route the USB Hub cable or other USB if used.
Step 19: Optional Backpack 4.0 Installation
- Optional: Mount Backpack 4.0 to the tower bracket as shown using (4) screws from bag "T".
- To improve Wi-Fi signal, use antenna extension cables (Amphenol RF P/N 095-902-538-024, available from Digikey or Mouser).
- Remove antennas from the Backpack, attach (2) extension cables to Backpack antenna connectors.
- Attach the male end of the extension cables to the holes in the tower rear, then attach the antennas to the cable connectors.
Step 20: Windows Landscape
If using an EMV Cradle, follow those instructions before proceeding.
- For 15" monitors: Add (2) screws from bag "M" to the top 75mm VESA positions.
- For 22" monitors: Add (2) screws from bag "N" to the top 75mm VESA positions.
- Leave approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Route the power cable from the I-Series through the bottom of the stand and through the openings in the mount bracket as shown.
Step 21: Mount Windows Monitor (Landscape)
- Place the I-Series on a surface near the stand head, within reach of the cable.
- Remove cable door (A), plug in the power cable (B), and replace the cable door (C) as shown.
- Mount the I-Series monitor.
- Add (2) screws from bag "M" (for 15") or bag "N" (for 22") to the bottom 75mm VESA positions.
- Route the LAN cable through the bottom of the stand head. Route the USB Hub cable or other USB if used.
Step 22: Windows Portrait
If using an EMV Cradle, follow those instructions before proceeding.
- For 15" monitors: Add (2) screws from bag "M" to the top 75mm VESA positions.
- For 22" monitors: Add (2) screws from bag "N" to the top 100mm VESA positions.
- Leave approximately 3mm (1/8") gap for mounting to the display bracket.
- Route the power cable from the I-series through the bottom of the stand and through the openings in the mount bracket as shown.
Step 23: Mount Windows Monitor (Portrait)
- Place the I-Series on a surface near the stand head, within reach of the cable.
- Remove cable door (A), plug in the power cable (B), and replace the cable door (C) as shown.
- Mount the I-Series monitor.
- Add (2) screws from bag "M" (for 15") or bag "N" (for 22") to the bottom 75mm VESA positions.
- Route the LAN cable through the bottom of the stand head. Route the USB Hub cable or other USB if used.
Step 24: Printer Installation
- If using a printer, remove the cover to add the printer.
- For Star printers:
- Add (2) screws from bag "C" to the printer tray; use the Star printer bracket to set the depth of the screws, then remove the Star bracket.
- Add the Star printer with bracket to the printer tray. Secure the printer to the printer tray using the third screw from bag "C".
- For Epson TM-T88:
- Add (4) screws from bag "D" to attach the printer to the tray.
- Route cables from/to the printer as needed.
- Slide in the printer tray assembly (or printer tray with cover if no printer).
Step 25: Final Assembly
- Close the Display Bracket and add the (2) screws saved from Step 7.
- Secure the printer assembly with the (2) screws saved from Step 3.
Step 26: Attach Floor Stand Cover
- Replace the floor stand cover and secure using the (4) screws saved from Step 2.
Step 27: Secure Stand to Floor
- There are (2) bolt holes available on the top of the base to secure the stand to the floor.
- The feet can be adjusted in case of uneven surfaces.
Step 28: EMV Cradle Installation (Optional)
- If installing an EMV Cradle with the display in landscape orientation, finish by adding (1) screw from bag "S".
