The Suprema RealPass-V is a multi-functional e-passport reader designed for full-page, one-step reading of both the visual data page and the RF chip data of ICAO standard travel documents and cards. It is ideal for high-level security applications such as immigration clearance.
The RealPass-V processes a variety of data, including OCR (Optical Character Recognition), photos, characters, and RFID data from e-passports. Its high-speed processing is achieved through automatic document detection, a one-step reading process, and a USB 2.0 interface. The reader also features comprehensive quality checking software, making it suitable for e-passport issuing processes.
