1) Scan the AppCode below to download the Android or iOS phone app "SeTracker2". The AppCode can be found in the watch interface under 'QR Code-AppCode'.

A QR code is displayed for scanning to download the app. Below the QR code, options for 'SeTracker2 (new version)' with 'iPhone download' and 'Android download' are shown, followed by 'SeTracker (Classic version)' with similar download options.

2) Follow the instructions to register and log in.

The binding process involves scanning or inputting a device ID (RegCode) to add a device. A watch interface shows 'RegCode' and 'AppCode' options.

Time setting:

1) After connecting to WIFI or inserting a working SIM card, the time updates automatically based on the current geolocation's time zone.

2) If no WiFi or SIM card is inserted, manual time setting is required. Navigate to Settings > Date&Time Settings, cancel automatic date and time, then set the time and date.

Press and hold the watch screen to change display face options.

9. Trouble Shooting

1) The watch is offline:

Turn on the watch and swipe down from the top of the screen. Search 'CJC smart watch' on YouTube for video instructions. 4G cellular signal and strength should be displayed at the top of the screen if the SIM card is activated and inserted.

Diagrams show signal status: 'SIM Card not recognized' with an exclamation mark icon, 'SIM no 4G Data' with signal bars, and 'SIM & 4G Data' with signal bars and '4G' indicator.

Solutions:

  • SIM Card not recognized: Turn off the watch before inserting the card. If it still doesn't work, try another card.
  • SIM no 4G Data: Test the SIM card in a mobile phone to check if it supports 4G, is from a supported carrier, and has all functions activated. Check call, receive call, and GPS functionality.
  • SIM & 4G Data: Send the text message 'pw,123456,ts#' (using English input method) to the watch. An auto-reply message with IMEI and URL code will be sent. Provide a screenshot of this message and a picture of the watch's Regcode for technical support.

2) The watch cannot be called:

Example: The watch can make calls, but when called, you hear a busy line.

Solutions:

  • a. Save the phone number in the phonebook of the SeTracker2 app. Unsaved numbers cannot call the watch.

The phone book in the app lists contacts like 'mom' and 'dad' with their numbers, and an 'Add' button.

  • b. If the watch is bound to the phone App, check if 'reject strange call', 'do not disturb', or 'night power saving' modes are enabled in the App. These functions can prevent calls during certain times.

A list of app settings is shown, including 'Do Not Disturb', 'Phone Book', 'SMS Alerts', 'Find Device', 'Function Restrictions', 'Timer Switch', 'Language', 'Time Zone', 'Night Power Saving', 'Receive watch text messages', 'Reject Strange Call', and 'Set Watch WiFi'.

If the above functions are turned off successfully, a 'successful' message will appear. Network delays may occur, so try again a few times.

  • c. If issues persist, send the text message 'pw,123456,ts#' to the watch (ensure the watch has a SIM card and the message is in English). An auto-reply with IMEI and URL code will be sent. Provide a screenshot of this message and a picture of the watch's Regcode for technical support.

3) Network not available:

The watch connects in WiFi state but not in SIM state. You can make/receive calls but not chat messages.

Solutions:

  • a. Reset APN to default.
  • b. If unsure how to reset APN, provide APN information for technical support. Send the text message 'pw,123456,imsi#' to the watch (ensure the watch has a SIM card and the message is in English). An auto-reply with the IMSI code will be sent. Provide a screenshot of this message and a picture of the watch's Regcode for technical support.

A text message 'pw,123456,imsi#' is sent. An auto-reply message shows 'imsi:460021125174173'.

4) The App cannot be registered:

  • a. If you are not the first person to bind the watch, obtain authorization from the first person.
  • b. If you haven't bound the watch but it requires administrator authorization and you don't know the administrator account, contact support to reset the device ID.

5) The device number does not exist when you add device:

When inputting the device ID, a message prompts 'please confirm the registration code is correct'.

  • a. Note that the device ID is Regcode, not IMEI.
  • b. If it still doesn't work, contact support to get the correct device ID.

6) The watch cannot be charged:

  • a. The watch needs at least 4 hours of charging before first use.
  • b. When charging, place the watch flat with the screen facing down for proper contact with the magnetic charging port.
  • c. Try a different charging plug if the current one is broken. If charging still fails after trying these steps, contact support.
