Overview
The SITRANS Probe LU240 is an ultrasonic level transmitter designed for continuous level, volume, and volume flow measurements. It is suitable for liquids, slurries, and bulk materials with a measuring range up to 12 meters (40 ft).

Application
The SITRANS Probe LU240 is ideal for level monitoring in water and wastewater industries, chemical storage vessels, and small bulk hoppers. It offers a range of 3 m, 6 m, or 12 m (10, 20, or 40 ft). The Probe LU240 provides high reliability with Process Intelligence, Auto False Echo Suppression, and accuracy of 0.15% of range or 6 mm (0.25 inch) for 6 m and 12 m models.
It supports HART communication on specific models and mA output on all models. The SITRANS mobile IQ app (available for Android, Apple, and Windows devices) offers an intuitive interface for configuration and monitoring. The transducer is available in ETFE or PVDF for chemical resistance, and an internal temperature sensor compensates for temperature changes.
Key applications include chemical storage vessels, filter beds, and liquid storage vessels.
