Connection
WARNING: Connect the appliance to the mains only after making all the necessary connections.
Ensure batteries are inserted in the remote control for adjustments. Refer to diagrams for socket identification.
Antenna Connection
Connect the coaxial cable from the antenna to the RF IN socket on the back of the device.
Connection to the Television
Two connection methods are available: HDMI or SCART cable (both included).
- HDMI: Use if your TV has an HDMI socket for maximum digital video and audio resolution.
- SCART: Insert into the appropriate socket on the TV, ensuring correct polarity. The TV will automatically display the decoder's home screen.
Diagram Description (Rear Panel): The rear panel typically features ports labeled ANT IN, ANT OUT, TV, COAXIAL, HDMI, and ETHERNET. Power input is also present.
Boot and Initial Setup
Select the video source via your TV settings if using HDMI. SCART connection is automatic. The decoder display will show the "boot" sign.
The initial "Installation Guide" screen allows you to select the OSD Language and Country. Default settings are Italian and Italy. Use the arrow keys on the remote control to change these parameters.
Press OK to start the automatic channel search.
The channel search operation may take several minutes. After the search, channel conflicts might occur, prompting you to make a selection between TV or Radio stations using the arrow keys and OK button. If no selection is made, you cannot proceed.
Once conflicts are resolved, you can enjoy your TV programs.
IMPORTANT NOTES: If channels are not arranged by national importance (e.g., RAI 1 on channel 1), the LCN function may be inactive. Refer to the "Program" section to activate LCN ordering.
Network Apps
If connected to the internet via a network cable, you can access applications like YouTube, RSS news feeds, Weather, and IPTV. The decoder directly accesses YouTube content. The news application provides preloaded English-language sites, with options to add more links. The Weather application displays local forecasts.
To access network applications, navigate to the USB menu, select "Network Apps", and choose your desired application.
ATTENTION: Internet connection is required to access Network Apps. Ensure the lights next to the LAN port are on if necessary.
