Charging
Basic Charging Method:
- Open charger port cap, connect charger to scooter and household outlet.
- Charging status: Red (Charging), Green (Complete).
- Close charger port cap when driving or storing.
- Metallic sparks during connection are normal due to voltage difference.
Important Warnings: Failure of charger or abnormal conditions can cause electric shock and fire. Learn correct usage and prevent safety accidents.
- Manufacturers are not responsible for issues from disassembly, modification, or using other chargers.
- Keep children and pets away from the charger.
- Charger is not waterproof; prevent moisture.
- Do not use in high humidity, heat, flammable materials, or confined spaces.
- Discontinue use immediately if charger lamp doesn't light, it falls, or cable is damaged. Contact service center.
- Unplug when away from home for long periods.
- Use only genuine chargers.
- Avoid touching the plug for about 10 seconds after unplugging; risk of electric shock from instantaneous discharge.
- Do not remove terminals during charging; may cause internal circuit malfunction.
- Do not operate the product while charging.
- Ensure charging terminals are firm and not corroded.
- Hold the terminal, not the wire, when disconnecting.
- Disconnect charger after charging is complete or if not used for days to prevent overcharging.
Safety Precautions for Lithium Battery
General Care: Protect from direct exposure to children and pets.
Performance: Affected by external temperature. Discharge performance reduces by over 15% after charging/discharging 300 times or more. Replace with genuine parts if usage time shortens.
Charging:
- Use only genuine batteries and chargers supplied by the manufacturer.
- Do not use non-genuine chargers; may cause malfunction or fire.
- Charge in a well-ventilated, dry place away from flammable materials.
- Charge/discharge temperature range: 0-45°C (scooter), -10-60°C (battery); sub-battery 0-50°C, -20-75°C. Outside these ranges may cause malfunction, fire, or explosion.
- If moving from cold to warm indoor, wait 1-2 hours before charging to prevent condensation.
Storage:
- Keep away from snow, rain, direct sunlight. Do not store in hot rooms or car trunks. Store in a dry place at room temperature (10-20°C).
- For storage over 3 months, charge to 70-80% (do not store fully charged).
Trouble Symptoms/Safety:
- Discontinue use immediately if battery is damaged, leaks, smells sour, or deforms. Contact place of purchase for technical support.
- If overheat, smoke, or ignition occurs, stop use, move outdoors, and extinguish flames. Do not use water.
- High energy density: avoid long charging times without supervision due to risk of ignition from short-circuit, leakage, or bad battery.
Misuse: Short-circuiting, reversed polarity, or impact can cause malfunction or fire. Stop use and get inspection if impact is suspected.
Water Inflow: Prevent water inflow into the battery. Risk of fire/shock if charger connected with moisture present.
Caution: Disconnect battery when not recharging/reinstalling. Do not use for other purposes.
Disposal: Separate battery from product at point of purchase or service center. Dispose of as industrial waste.
DANGER: Battery disassembly, modification, and repair are not covered under warranty.
