Dashboard Overview

The Dualtron dashboard provides essential information for riding. Key indicators include:

Control buttons include POWER [Power Button], SET [Set Button], and MODE [Mode Button].

Dashboard Symbols and Functions

Symbol Name Meaning Description
[POWER] Power Button 1. Press and hold to turn on/off the scooter.
2. Press to adjust the speed gear.
Set in P1. When PAS turns on, PAS symbol will appear in the LCD screen.
[SET] Set Button 1. Press and hold to enter/exit ECO mode.
2. Press to switch battery voltage/percent indication.
Set in P2. "0" means the most powerfully start, it will have a strong impact. "1" means 0.5s gentler start, "2" means 1s gentler start, and so on. "5" means the gentlest start. The default is 2, 1s gentler start.
[MODE] Mode Button 1. Press and hold to enter/exit mode setting, automatically return to main interface after 30s.
2. Press to switch ODO/time indication. (Time defaults)
Set in P3. 0-5 strengths can be selected, 0 is the weakest, no EBS function, and 5 is the strongest. The default is 1.
? Battery Unit Displays remaining battery power in a bar. Set in P4. 0 means function off and 1 means function on. The default is 0.
? Running light Indicates running light is on. Set in P5. "Battery save", scooter works with 50% of maximum torque. "Comfort", 75%. "Climbing", max torque. Climbing Mode is default. (Note: Continuous riding in Climbing Mode can increase motor temperature and trigger ECO.)
? Headlight Indicates headlight is on. Set in P6. Parameter adjustable from 5% to 100%, default is 100%.
[PAS] PAS Kick start; scooter cannot be directly accelerated to start. (Default OFF) Set in P7. Press SET to switch ON/OFF, press POWER to confirm. If switching from OFF to ON, enter original password. Incorrect password fails setting (initial: 0000). Note: Owner can connect to APP to unlock/reset password.
[Starting Effect] Starting Effect Powerfully start and gently start selection. Set in P8. Press POWER to change password. Display shows 1, enter initial password, press POWER. Display shows 2, enter new password, press POWER. Display shows 3, re-enter new password, press POWER. Password changed.
[EBS] EBS EBS strength selection. Set in P9. When scooter is static for N seconds (no operation, no speed), it switches to SAFE mode. SAFE symbol appears. (N seconds: 0-300; 0 means SAFE mode disabled.)
[ABS] ABS ABS function control. Set in P10. Turn cruise control mode ON/OFF. Default OFF. (Scooter maintains fixed speed for >8s.)
⚙️ Drive Mode Select driving mode according to road conditions. Set in P11. Turn Prevent BMS CUT mode ON/OFF. Default OFF. When scooter enters ECO in this mode, ECO cannot be manually closed. To close ECO, first close Prevent BMS CUT mode.
⏱️ Speed Limit System speed control (percentage of max speed). Set in P12. Automatic shutdown time adjustable 1-30 mins. Default 5 mins. Timing starts when no operation or speed.
? Protection (Password) Password protection. (Enter correct password to drive.) Set in P13. Adjust from 0 to 5, default is 5.
? Change Password Reset a password. Set in P14. "0" means metric (km/h); "1" means imperial (mp/h). Default is 0.
?️ Safe Mode Prevent scooter from starting when accelerator is accidentally touched. Different scooters have different default diameters. Set at factory. Any modification forbidden.
[CCS] CCS Drive at a constant speed without stepping on accelerator or brake. Different scooters have different default voltages. Set at factory. Any modification forbidden.
[BMS CUT] Prevent BMS CUT When battery capacity is less than 20%, scooter enters ECO mode automatically. Different scooters have different motor pole pair numbers. Set at factory. Any modification forbidden.
? Auto Power-off Auto shutdown when not operated.
? LCD Brightness Adjust LCD backlight brightness.
? Imperial/Metric Speed unit selection.
⚙️ Wheel Diameter Wheel diameter of the scooter.
Battery Voltage Voltage of the scooter.
⚙️ Pole Pairs Motor pole pair number of the scooter.

Safety Instructions

General Safety:

  1. Scooters are not for public transport roads. Abide by local laws, regulations, and policies.
  2. Master riding skills through practice. Dualtron is not liable for damage due to inexperience or misuse.
  3. Follow "CAUTION" and "WARNING" instructions. Do not exceed speed limits. Avoid roads with motor vehicles.
  4. Follow tips and warnings to reduce risks. Use on flat, hard, and open road environments. Be alert in strange environments.

Riding Safety:

  1. Avoid sudden acceleration/deceleration. Hold handlebars with both hands, stand with both feet. Do not exceed speed limits.
  2. Avoid distractions: no earphones, calls, photos, or videos while riding.
  3. Do not ride in snow, rain, wet, muddy, or icy conditions. Water ingress can cause damage and is not covered by warranty.
  4. Suitable for users aged 16-60.
  5. Wear helmets, knee pads, elbow pads, and other protective gear. Use a qualified helmet and secure the strap.
  6. Prohibited footwear: high heels, slippers, open-toed shoes. Tie up long hair.
  7. Check vehicle for looseness or damage before riding.
  8. Use only specified/approved parts. Do not modify the scooter; this may cause serious damage and void warranty.

Charging

Basic Charging Method:

  1. Open charger port cap, connect charger to scooter and household outlet.
  2. Charging status: Red (Charging), Green (Complete).
  3. Close charger port cap when driving or storing.
  4. Metallic sparks during connection are normal due to voltage difference.

Important Warnings: Failure of charger or abnormal conditions can cause electric shock and fire. Learn correct usage and prevent safety accidents.

Safety Precautions for Lithium Battery

General Care: Protect from direct exposure to children and pets.

Performance: Affected by external temperature. Discharge performance reduces by over 15% after charging/discharging 300 times or more. Replace with genuine parts if usage time shortens.

Trouble Symptoms/Safety:

Misuse: Short-circuiting, reversed polarity, or impact can cause malfunction or fire. Stop use and get inspection if impact is suspected.

Water Inflow: Prevent water inflow into the battery. Risk of fire/shock if charger connected with moisture present.

Caution: Disconnect battery when not recharging/reinstalling. Do not use for other purposes.

Disposal: Separate battery from product at point of purchase or service center. Dispose of as industrial waste.

DANGER: Battery disassembly, modification, and repair are not covered under warranty.

Maintenance and Care

WARNING: Sun exposure and extreme temperatures accelerate aging and reduce battery life.

Recommended Maintenance Schedule:

Regular maintenance ensures safety. If abnormalities are found, stop use immediately and seek authorized service.
