Safety Guidelines Before Driving

1) Required Checking Before Use:

  1. Throttle and Handle: Operate the throttle lever 2-3 times to ensure it returns to its position. Check the fastening and clearance of the QR lever on the handle. Be cautious of excessive throttle manipulation causing damage.
  2. Brake and Cable: Check brake force and operating condition. If braking is weak, inspect and act immediately. Check brake pads for wear, cable looseness, damage, or hydraulic leaks. Listen for unusual feelings or noises, indicating potential inner wire breakage or deformation. Ensure brake fixing bolts and nuts are tight and the disc is not deformed.
  3. Tire Pressure and Condition: Check front and rear tires for wear and punctures. Maintain proper air pressure (45-50 psi). Low pressure increases puncture risk. Judge tire replacement time based on appearance (damage, uneven wear).
  4. Tightening Check (Folding Part and Handle Part): Ensure all bolts and nuts are tight. Check the fastening condition and clearance of folding and fixing parts (QR lever, fixed slide, hinge center bolt, headset nut, swing arm).

Danger: If there is folding clearance, it can be adjusted with a tongue bolt. Overtightening can cause stiffness and cracking sounds; proper adjustment should resolve this.

Stop Driving Immediately: If any of the following situations occur while driving, stop immediately and contact a service center. Provide photos/videos for diagnosis.

Maintenance

2) Maintenance and Self-Maintenance:

Electric products can be affected by various factors. Part lifespan depends on driving habits and environment. Parts exceeding their service life can cause accidents. Regular management and inspection prevent safety issues.

1. Check Replacement Timing of Consumable Parts:

Rubber suspension components wear out over time, reducing elasticity. Regularly inspect and check consumable parts including swing arm, tires, tubes, wheels, bearings, headset bearings, discs, brake pads, cables, folding parts, and brackets.

Fatigue Failure Parts and Maintenance Parts Replacement Cycle:

No.Parts NameReplacement Cycle / km
1LOWER HINGE2 YEARS / 7,000
2HIGHER HINGE3 YEARS / 20,000
3HINGE BOLT1 YEAR / 5,000
4STEERING TUBE3 YEARS / 20,000
5HANDLE STEM3 YEARS / 20,000
6LOCKING SLIDE2 YEARS / 10,000
7BATTERY2 YEARS / 20,000
8Other chassis componentsIf the exterior is damaged or deformed

2. External Damage Inspection by Driving Environment:

Caution: Inspect parts for damage due to external factors like deformation, cracks from compression, or signs of exceeding expected life. Prolonged exposure to strong sunlight may cause discoloration. Heavy driving (jumps, impacts, poor road conditions, high mileage) can lead to fatigue breakdown. Check and replace parts according to the schedule. Fatigue breakdown may vary based on driving environment and conditions; always check parts for abnormalities.

Important Notice

Metal Vibration: Motor vibration or brake disc/pad vibration may occur during acceleration (approx. 15-30Km). This is normal rotational vibration. However, if continuous or loud metal noise occurs, the disc may be bent or deformed.

Burn Risk: Be aware of the risk of burns from hot motor and brake (disc rotor) areas after running.

ABS Function: Bolts for the motor, rim, and motor shaft may loosen due to ABS function vibrations.

3) Maintenance by Self-Maintenance:

1. Brake Adjustment: As brake pads wear, the gap widens, reducing braking force. Use a 5mm hexagon wrench to loosen the brake arm wire bolt and lift the brake arm to adjust braking force.

2. Tire Replacement:

  1. Remove calipers, motor (18mm spanner), and wheel fastening bolts.
  2. Remove tires from the wheel.
  3. Replace tires and reassemble in reverse order. Tighten screws and bolts.
  4. After replacement, test run with appropriate air pressure (45-50 psi).
  5. For punctures, use patch sealant and continue to monitor tire condition.

Easy-Wheel System: Features a separable hub motor design, allowing rim replacement without replacing the entire motor if the rim breaks, improving maintenance efficiency (patent pending).

Causes and Countermeasures of Disc Brake Noise:

Disc brakes can produce a hissing sound due to dust/sand on the disc/pads or bending from heat/impact. Clean the disc inner surface or straighten bent discs. If issues persist, seek professional service.

4. Variable Rubber Suspension System Adjustment (patent pending):

This system allows 45-step adjustment of suspension strength via motor shaft distance (3 steps), arm angle (3 steps), and rubber cartridge replacement (5 steps).

  1. Remove the front fender (3mm hex wrench) and loosen nuts (18mm motor side, 19mm swing arm side) to remove the suspension arm.
  2. Adjust motor shaft distance, rubber cartridge, and arm length for desired suspension strength.
  3. Align suspension arms and reassemble using Loctite.
