How to Use
- Prepare the basket and desired food. Insert the tray into the basket using the tray handle. Ensure it is secure and leveled. Note: Using the tray allows for maximum air circulation for even cooking. Warning: Never fill the basket with oil. If using oil, toss food with oil in a separate bowl before adding to the tray.
- Put food on tray. Refer to the cooking chart for recommended amounts, times, and temperatures.
- Put the basket into the Air Fryer. Use the basket handle to insert the basket securely.
- Plug in the Air Fryer. The power indicator light will illuminate. The heating indicator light will turn on when the timer dial is turned past zero. Note: The Air Fryer will not operate if the basket is not fully pushed in.
- Set desired cooking temperature and time. Adjust the temperature dial (200°F-400°F) and the timer dial (up to 60 minutes).
- Start cooking. The power and heating indicator lights will illuminate, and the Air Fryer will begin cooking.
- Check food during cooking. Pull out the basket using the handle. The lights will turn off, but the timer continues. Shake the basket or use tongs to redistribute food for even cooking. The unit will resume cooking automatically when the basket is replaced.
- Enjoy your air-fried food. The Air Fryer will signal when cooking is complete. Pull out the basket, carefully remove food using tongs or protective gloves. Caution: Basket, tray, and contents will be hot. Place the hot basket on a trivet to cool.
- Unplug the Air Fryer and let it cool completely before cleaning.
- Clean the basket and tray after every use.
Cooking Tips
Almost any food cooked in an oven can be air-fried. For best results:
- Cook foods of similar size and thickness for even cooking.
- Smaller pieces cook faster.
- Air fry in small batches to save time and ensure even cooking. Avoid stacking food.
- Most prepackaged foods do not require added oil.
- Frozen appetizers and hors d'oeuvres cook well; arrange in a single layer.
- Shake the basket halfway through cooking or flip food for even cooking, especially if layering.
- Toss fresh foods like fries or vegetables with a small amount of oil for browning and crispiness.
- Pat fresh vegetables dry before tossing with oil and air frying for maximum crispiness.
- Use thick, pasty batters for battered foods. Thin batters may not set properly.
- Coating battered foods in panko or puffed rice and spraying with oil creates crispy, healthier versions.
- Reheat food like pizza at 300°F for up to 10 minutes. Ensure reheated foods reach 165°F.

Troubleshooting Guide
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
The Air Fryer is not working/will not turn on. | 1. Air Fryer is not properly plugged in. 2. The timer has not been turned past zero. 3. The basket is not fully pushed into place. |
1. Ensure the plug is securely in the wall outlet. 2. Turn the timer dial past zero to initiate cooking. 3. Push the basket firmly into the Air Fryer's housing. |
There is smoke coming out of the Air Fryer. | 1. Air Fryer is being used for the first time. 2. Too much grease in or on the food. 3. Leftover grease in the basket. |
1. Smoke will subside after first use. 2. Lightly coat food with oil. 3. Clean the basket after every use. |
Air fried foods are not crispy. | 1. The food didn't have enough oil. 2. The food was coated in too much oil and became soggy. |
Only toss oil-free fresh foods in a small amount of oil for maximum crispiness. |
Air Fryer is producing a significant amount of smoke. | High fat content foods (e.g., sausage) produce smoke at high temperatures. | This will not harm the air fryer. To avoid smoke, fry at a lower temperature. |
