User Guide and Setup Instructions
Introduction
The Trust GXT 256 EXXO is a USB condenser microphone designed for streaming, gaming, and voiceovers. It offers high-quality audio capture and features like adjustable LED lighting and headphone monitoring.
Setup and Connection
Step 1: Mount the Microphone
Attach the microphone to its included stand. The stand features a clamp mechanism that secures the microphone arm to a desk or shelf. Insert the microphone into the designated mount on the stand and tighten the clamp.

Step 2: Connect to Computer
Connect the microphone to your computer using the provided USB cable. Plug the USB Type-A end into an available USB port on your computer ? and the other end into the microphone.

Step 3: Connect Headphones

Audio Configuration (Windows)
Once connected, your computer should recognize the GXT 256 EXXO microphone. You may need to configure it in your system's sound settings.
Recording Device Setup
Navigate to Windows Sound settings. Under the 'Recording' tab, select 'GXT 256 Microphone' as the Default Device. Ensure it is enabled and set to an appropriate level.

Playback Device Setup
In the same Sound settings window, go to the 'Playback' tab. Select 'GXT 256 Microphone' (or your connected headphones if they appear as a separate output) as the Default Device for audio output. This ensures that the microphone's monitoring signal is routed correctly.

Microphone Controls and Features
Monitor Volume Adjustment
Use the rotary dial on the microphone to adjust the volume of the audio being monitored through your connected headphones. Turning the dial clockwise increases the volume, and counter-clockwise decreases it.

Mute Function
Press the dedicated MUTE button on the microphone to instantly silence the microphone input. Press it again to unmute. An indicator light (often red when muted) may be present.
