Installation
Removing the Front Panel:
- Remove the plastic frame of the front panel from the unit.
- Fix the unit with 4 pieces #8 pan head self-tapping screws.
- Put back the plastic frame of the front panel to the unit.
Mounting Location:
- Choose a mounting location away from humid areas, water sources, appliances, or any equipment that can radiate heat.
- Select an area on a wall or cabinet which is free from cable, fuel, or brake lines. Ensure the area behind the DV7100 has a vent hole or adequate room around the rear of the unit for cooling if it is an enclosed box.
- Ensure that when the stereo is mounted in the cut-out, the wires at the rear of the unit are not pressed against the heat sink.
Installing the unit:
- Before finally installing the unit, connect the wiring temporarily and make sure the unit and the system work properly.
- Fix the unit with screws according to the following diagram.

Common Operation
- Turn the unit on/off: Press the POWER button to switch the unit on. Press and hold the POWER button for more than 1 second to switch the unit off.
- Select function mode: Press the AUX, DVD, AM/FM, HDMI, USB, BT button on the front panel to select the corresponding mode.
- Adjust volume level: Press the VOLUME + or VOLUME - button on the front panel to adjust the volume during playback.
- Mute or resume sound: Press the MUTE button to eliminate or resume sound immediately during playback.
- Set sound mode and menu: Press and hold the SEL button for more than 2 seconds to access the menu. Use VOLUME+/- to adjust settings and SEL to cycle through options (BASS, TREBLE, BALANCE, EQ, LOUDNESS, SUBWOOFER, etc.).
- Display and adjust the time: Press and hold the 6 button for more than 2 seconds. Use VOLUME+/- to adjust HOUR and ◄/► buttons to adjust MINUTE.
- Adjust backlight: Press and hold the 5/BACKLIGHT button repeatedly to adjust the backlight.
- Alarm Function: Press and hold the 6 button repeatedly to enter ALARM ON/OFF mode. Use VOLUME+/- to select ALARM ON or ALARM OFF. To set the alarm time, press and hold the 6 button repeatedly to enter alarm time setting mode. Use ◄/► buttons to set MINUTE and VOLUME+/- buttons to set HOUR.
- Reset unit: Press the RESET button with a pointed object to reset the unit to factory defaults. Alternatively, in AUX mode, press and hold the 2/STOP button until “RESET III” is displayed, then press and hold the 3/RPT button to reset.
Radio Operation
- Select radio band: Press the AM/FM button to cycle through FM1, FM2, FM3, AM1, AM2.
- Search for radio station: Press >>| or |<< briefly to tune step-by-step. Press and hold >>| or |<< for 2 seconds to automatically scan for strong signals.
- Store current station or preset: Press and hold the AM/FM button until the frequency flashes. Press one of the 6 number buttons to store the station. Press a number button briefly to recall a stored station. The unit can store 30 preset stations.
- Auto search and store: Press and hold the 2/STOP button for more than 2 seconds to auto-search and store the 6 strongest stations.
- Set frequency: Press and hold SEL for more than 2 seconds to access BASS settings. Cycle through options using SEL until AMERICA3, AUSTRALIA, or EUROPE is displayed. Use VOLUME+/- to select the region and press SEL to confirm.
USB Operation
- Insert/pull out USB stick: Insert the USB stick into the USB socket to enter USB mode.
- Track navigation: Press ◄ or ► briefly to play previous or next track.
- Fast forward/backward: Press and hold ◄ or ► to fast forward or backward.
- 10th track navigation: Press 5 or 6 button to play previous or next 10th track.
- Play/Pause: Press 1/PLAY/PAUSE to pause playback. Press again to resume. Press and hold 1/PLAY/PAUSE to select the first track.
- Repeat track(s): Press 3/RPT briefly to repeat the current track (RPT ONE). Press twice to repeat all tracks in the album (RPT DIR). Press thrice for RPT ALL. Press four times to cancel repeat (RPT OFF).
- Random playback: Press RDM button briefly to play tracks in random order. Press again to cancel RDM function.
- Track search: Press the USB button to activate TRACK SEARCH mode. Use VOLUME+/- buttons to select digits and the USB button to confirm. Press 1/PLAY/PAUSE to play the selected track.
Audiovisual and HDMI
The unit supports Audiovisual and HDMI inputs for displaying content.
Bluetooth Handsfree System
- Pairing: Turn on Bluetooth on your mobile phone and search for devices. Select "FURRION DV7100-XXXX" (where X can be any character A-Z or number 0-9). If prompted, enter the password "0000". The unit will display "BT LINK".
- Connection/Disconnection: In connection status, find the paired device and press the disconnect button. In disconnection status, find the paired device and press the connect button.
- Call transfer: When dialing or receiving a call, the mobile phone transfers the audio to the car audio player.
- Dialing: While connected, dial directly from your mobile phone.
- Accept/Reject/End call: Press TEL button to accept a call. Press HANG UP button to reject or end a call.
- Talking volume: Use VOLUME+/- buttons to adjust the talking volume.
- Sleep mode operation: When the unit is in sleep mode, dialing or receiving calls will temporarily wake up the stereo.
- Audio playback: If your mobile device supports A2DP, you can stream audio through Bluetooth. If it supports AVRCP, you can control basic audio functions (Play/Pause) from the DV7100.
- NFC Setup: Turn on NFC on your mobile phone. Touch the NFC detection area of your phone to the unit's NFC detection area to connect or disconnect. The password "0000" may be required for the first connection.
APP Function
Control the unit using the "Es Control" app available on Google Play (Android) or the App Store (iPhone).
- App Installation: Search for "Es Control" and download the app.
- Bluetooth Connection: Open your smartphone's BT function and pair with the Stereo.
- Connect to App: Tap the "Es Control" icon to enter the app connection interface. Select "FURRION DV7100-XXXX" (Android) or "DV7100-4.0-XXXX" (iPhone) to connect.
- Control Stereo: Use the app to control the Stereo freely.
