Before Commissioning

[WARNING] Avoid connection failures: To prevent connection problems between the devices, observe the following points during initial setup.

  1. Place the base unit (receiver) and the sensor (transmitter) as close to each other as possible.
  2. Connect the power supply to the base unit and wait until the indoor temperature is displayed.
  3. Connect the power supply for the sensor.
  4. Install/use the base unit and sensor within the effective transmission range.

When changing batteries, remove them from both the base unit and the sensor and reinsert them in the correct order to re-establish the radio connection. If the device is powered by mains, briefly disconnect the mains power when changing batteries. If only the sensor batteries are changed, the signal may not be received correctly.

The actual transmission range depends on building materials and the placement of the base unit and outdoor sensor. External influences (various radio transmitters and other sources of interference) can significantly reduce the possible range. In such cases, try relocating the base unit and sensor. Sometimes, moving them a few centimeters is sufficient.

Power Supply

[WARNING] The base unit can operate with the supplied AC adapter or with batteries.

Base Unit

  1. Hold down the lock button on the AC adapter's adapter holder. At the same time, insert the desired plug adapter into the adapter holder and turn it as far as possible in the "LOCK" direction. Release the lock button.
  2. Insert the DC hollow plug into the DC connection socket of the base unit.
  3. [ATTENTION] Ensure the plug adapter is firmly and securely attached to the AC adapter's adapter holder before proceeding.
  4. Insert the AC adapter with the pre-assembled plug into the power socket.
  5. The device turns on automatically.
  6. Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base unit.
  7. To change the plug adapter, hold down the lock button, turn the plug adapter in the "OPEN" direction, and remove it from the adapter holder. Then repeat step 1 to attach another plug adapter.

NOTE: Alternatively, operation with batteries (LR03 AAA/LR03) is also possible. The display enters standby mode during battery operation and can be activated for approximately 15 seconds by pressing the snooze button. Proceed as follows:

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly (+/- poles).
  3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
  4. Wait until the indoor temperature is displayed on the base unit.

Wireless Sensor

  1. Remove the battery compartment cover.
  2. Insert batteries into the battery compartment. Ensure the batteries are inserted correctly (+/- poles).
  3. Replace the battery compartment cover.

Battery Level Indicator

  1. When the battery charge of the base station or the wireless sensor begins to run low, the battery level symbol [battery-low-indicator] will appear on the display.
  2. When replacing batteries, always remove the batteries from the other part of the appliance and reinsert them in the correct order (see chapter "Power Supply Configuration"). Replace the batteries to be changed in the corresponding part of the appliance with new, fully charged batteries. This will ensure the connection between the devices is re-established correctly.

Automatic Time Setting

Once the battery is connected, the unit will automatically search for the time signal. This process takes approximately 3 to 8 minutes to complete. If the time signal is received correctly, the date and time will be updated automatically, and the reception symbol [radio-signal-icon] will appear. If the time signal is not received, press the UP button for approximately 3 seconds to initiate the signal reception. If no time signal is received even then, set the time manually. For more information on manual time setting, consult the "Manual Time Setting" section.

  2. When the alarm sounds, press any other button to stop it until the set alarm time is reached again.

Automatic Value Transmission

As soon as the batteries are inserted, the base station begins to display indoor measurement values. The first measured values received by the outdoor sensor are displayed approximately 3 minutes after commissioning. The reception symbol [radio-signal-icon] appears on the base station display. If no signal is received, press the [DOWN] button for approximately 3 seconds to initiate reception of the measured values again.

°C/°F Display Change

  • Base Station: In normal display mode, press the DOWN key to switch between °C and °F.
  • Wireless Sensor: Open the battery compartment cover [18]. Press the °C/°F button to switch between °C and °F. Close the battery compartment.

Weather Trend

Based on the measured values, a weather trend for the next 12-24 hours is calculated and displayed graphically:

Weather trend indicators (from left to right): Sunny / Partly cloudy / Cloudy / Rainy / Snowy.

MAX/MIN Weather Data

The base station stores the maximum and minimum indoor and outdoor temperatures, as well as humidity, for a 24-hour period:

  1. Press the UP button several times to view the stored values one after another.

Recycling

Dispose of packaging materials according to their class. Information on proper waste disposal can be obtained from municipal waste management companies or the environmental agency. Do not dispose of electronic devices by throwing them in your household waste. In accordance with Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE Directive 2), incorporated into national legislation by Royal Decree 110/2015 of February 20, used electrical equipment must be collected separately and recycled in an environmentally friendly manner. Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obliged to return used batteries and accumulators after use to our point of sale or a nearby location (e.g., in shops or at municipal collection points) free of charge. Batteries and accumulators are marked with a crossed-out waste bin symbol [recycling-symbol] and the chemical symbol of the contaminant. "Cd" signifies cadmium, "Hg" signifies mercury, and "Pb" signifies lead.
