How to Charge?
Charge by USB-C cable
Place earbuds into charging case properly, then use the included USB-C charging cable to connect the charging case, and plug the other end into power supply with a 5V/1A adapter (not included). They will start charging.
[Diagram depicting the charging case connected via USB-C cable to a power source, with icons representing a wall adapter, computer, and power bank.]
The USB-C charging cable is in the black paper box.
Wireless Charging
Place the charging case on a wireless charging pad; it will start charging. If the charging case doesn't start to charge, please try to reposition it.
(We recommend you to use a wireless charging pad with QI certificate.)
[Diagram showing the charging case placed on a wireless charging pad, with the charging indicator on the case illuminated.]
Note:
- If earbud's battery is lower than 10%, you will hear voice prompt "battery low" four times and then "power off" in turns.
- The fully charged charging case can recharge the earbuds for 5-6 times without being plugged into power supply.
LED Power Display
- The display shows the remaining battery percentage of the charging case from 0-100. "0" means the charging case needs charging, while "100" means the charging case is fully charged.
- Earbud charging indicator: Flashes down and up when the earbud is charging; stops flashing when the earbud is fully charged.
- Earbud's LED light: Red light up means "being charged"; Red light goes off means "fully charged".
How to power on/off & pair?
Automatically Power on/off & Pairing
(Make sure the earbuds and charging case have power.)
- Take out earbuds from the charging case; the earbuds will auto power on and enter pairing mode. [Diagram showing earbuds being removed from the charging case, with arrows indicating they are powering on and entering pairing mode.]
- For first-time pairing: Activate Bluetooth setting on your phone, search and connect "C17". For second-time use, when you take out the earbuds from the charging case, they will connect with your device automatically. [Diagram of a smartphone screen displaying Bluetooth settings, with 'C17' listed as an available device to connect.]
- Put the earbuds back into the charging case; they will disconnect & power off automatically. [Diagram showing earbuds being placed back into the charging case, with arrows indicating they are disconnecting and powering off.]
Note: If the earbuds are not connected to your device over 5 minutes, they will power off automatically.
Manually Power on/off
- If the earbuds are out of the charging case and powered off, just click & hold both earbuds for 2s; they will power on.
- Disconnect the Bluetooth with your device, click & hold either earbud for 5s; both earbuds will power off at the same time.
Pair with Other Device
C17 Sports Headphones have memory connect function; they always auto-connect with the last paired device. Thus, if you want to pair them with another device, you should:
- Disconnect "C17" from the last paired device.
- Search and connect "C17" on your new device; it will work properly.
Mono Mode (Only Left/Right Earbud is being Used)
You can use one earbud alone, leaving the other earbud in the charging case.
- When in Dual mode, put one earbud into the charging case.
- Or, take only one earbud out of the charging case, then search & connect "C17" on your device. [Diagrams illustrating the R/L earbuds in dual mode, and a single R or L earbud in mono mode, accompanied by Bluetooth connection symbols.]
Factory Restore Setting
When should I reset?
- When only one side plays music.
- When you can't find "C17" on your device.
- Occur connection issues.
How to reset?
- Delete "C17" record from the Bluetooth menu on your device and deactivate the Bluetooth setting.
- Quick-click on both earbuds 5 times simultaneously to clean the pairing record with the last paired device. [Diagram showing a hand performing a quick double-click action on an earbud.] (* During this period, both earbuds' LED will flash Red & Blue light once, then turn to Red light for 2s.)
- Put both earbuds into the charging case to get charged for 1 min. [Diagram showing earbuds being placed into the charging case.]
- Now, pick up the earbuds to turn them on, activate the Bluetooth setting on your device and select "C17" to connect; it should work properly. [Diagram showing earbuds being taken out of the case, with arrows indicating power on and connection.]
Note: If it still doesn't work, please repeat the steps to try again.
How to sync volume on Android?
To protect users from potential hearing damage, Android's limit on max volume is quite low for Bluetooth audio devices. If you feel the volume is too low, please access developer options and enable absolute volume, so you'll be able to max the volume at your own volition and to the full capabilities of your Bluetooth earphones.
Find Build Number Firstly
- Android 4.1 and lower: The Developer options screen is available by default.
- Android 4.2 and higher: Developer options are hidden; you must enable this screen through Build Number.
- Android 7.1 and lower: Go to Settings > About Phone > Build Number.
- Android 8.0.0 and Android 8.1.0: Go to Settings > System > About Phone > Build Number.
- Android 9 and higher: Go to Settings > About Phone > Build Number.
Enable Developer Options
Locate the Build number and tap it about 7 times in succession to enable Developer options. You may also have to tap in your PIN for verification. Once developer options are activated, you will see a message that reads "You are now a developer".
[Screenshot of an Android phone's settings menu showing the 'Developer Options' entry, with an arrow pointing to it.]
Go back to the Settings pane, search for Developer options as an entry. At the top of the Developer options screen, you can toggle the options.
Enable Absolute Volume
Scroll down until you reach the Networking section. Once there, enable (toggle ON) the absolute volume option. [Screenshot of Android's Developer Options showing the 'Enable absolute volume' toggle being switched ON.]
Note: These options in the figures may be different from the device you're using. Typically, the choices depend on the type and model of the device you are working with.
