This manual provides comprehensive instructions for operating and maintaining the Xiaomi MCL01M Ultra-thin Induction Cooker.

Getting Started and Operation
1. Turn On
After the power is connected, a boot animation plays. The screen displays "Long press to open". Press and hold the Main knob for 0.5 seconds to turn on the device. On first boot, the screen shows "Manual". Rotate the Main knob to switch menus.
Tip: The default standby state is firepower mode, ready for immediate use without selecting another function.
Function Selection
To select a cooking mode (e.g., "Hot pot"): Turn the Main knob left or right to highlight the desired mode. Click the Main knob to confirm. The device starts cooking.
Tip: To exit function selection, click the Cancel button.
Adjust Firepower
In the current mode, rotate the Main knob left and right to manually adjust the firepower level.
Shut Down
After cooking is completed, press and hold the Main knob for 3 seconds to put the device into sleep mode.
Tip: In any state, pressing and holding the Main knob for 3 seconds puts the device to sleep.
Visual: A display shows "90" indicating firepower level, with icons for timing and mode selection.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi
Upon first power-on, the induction cooker automatically enters Wi-Fi waiting state. Set up the connection via the Mijia APP.
3. Reset Wi-Fi
In standby mode, rotate the Main knob to display "Wi-Fi Settings". Click the Main knob, and "Whether to reset" appears. Select "Yes" by rotating the Main knob and clicking it to reset Wi-Fi. The screen will display "Resetting" and then "Reset" upon completion.
Visual flow: Wi-Fi settings → Whether to reset (No/Yes) → Resetting → Reset.

Tip: The Wi-Fi icon flashes when not connected. If no connection is made within 30 minutes, the icon turns off.
5. Connect to Mijia APP
This product can be controlled via the Mijia APP for enhanced functionality and interconnection with other smart devices. Scan the QR code to download and install the Mijia APP. Users with the APP installed will be directed to the device connection page. Alternatively, search for "Mijia" in your app store. Open the Mijia APP homepage, click the '+' icon in the upper right corner, and follow the prompts to add the device.
Tip: Due to Mijia APP updates, operations may vary slightly. Follow the current APP guide.

NFC Function
The induction cooker features a built-in NFC smart sensor chip. By bringing an NFC-enabled mobile phone close to the NFC icon, the phone can quickly access the smart food spectrum menu.
Requirements:
- Android phones: NFC function must be enabled. Supported models include Xiaomi, Huawei, OPPO, vivo, and other NFC-enabled devices.
- iOS phones: NFC is enabled by default. Supported models include iPhone XR, XS, XS Max, 11, 11 Pro, 12, 12 Pro, and later models.
How to Use NFC:
Unlock your phone and bring its NFC sensor area close to the induction cooker's NFC icon.
- Android: Automatic execution upon touch.
- iPhone: A notification appears; tap it to execute.
NFC Sensing Area:
- Android phones: Typically on the top of the phone or near the camera.
- iPhone: On the top of the phone.
Tip: Adjust phone position slightly if sensing is inconsistent due to varying NFC locations.
Operating Guidelines
Manual Mode
The default mode is manual. Adjust firepower by slowly rotating the Main knob (1 gear increment) or quickly (10 gear increments).
Functional Mode
Turn the Main knob to select desired basic menu functions. Rotating right cycles through modes: "manual, hot pot, cooking, soup, wonderful dishes, frying". Click the Main knob to start cooking with the selected function.
Tip: Menu functions can be expanded or reordered via the Mijia APP.
Cooking Modes:
- 1. Hot pot: Default duration is 2 hours. Firepower adjusts independently (default starting firepower: 99 gears).
- 2. Cooking: Default duration is 1 hour. Firepower adjusts independently (default starting firepower: 80 gears). [Icon: 蒸煮 - Steaming/Boiling]
- 3. Tang Xie (Soup/Porridge): Default duration is 2 hours. Firepower adjusts independently (default starting firepower: 60 gears). [Icon: 汤粥 - Soup/Porridge]
- 4. Stir-fry: Default duration is 1 hour. Firepower adjusts independently (default starting firepower: 99 gears). [Icon: 炒菜 - Stir-fry]
- 5. Frying: Default duration is 2 hours. Firepower adjusts independently (default starting firepower: 70 gears). [Icon: Frying]
Timing Mode
1. Confirm the current mode before setting the timer. Press the "Timing" button to enter timing mode.
Reminder: Timing can be used in non-heated states. After countdown, an alarm sounds, and the device enters standby. For timing in functional modes, it must be set after the device enters the selected state.
2. Rotate the Main knob to set the countdown time. Click the Main knob to start. Adjust time by 1 minute (slow rotation) or 10 minutes (fast rotation).
Reminder: Maximum timing is 4 hours. Display format is "Hours: minutes". After countdown, the device stops heating and enters standby.
Visuals: Display showing "00:00" for timing, "01:45" for countdown, "90" for firepower, and "Temporarily closed" for pause.
Firepower Adjustment
While heating, rotate the Main knob left and right to adjust firepower from 0 to 99 gears.
Pause
While heating, press the Main knob once to pause. Press again to resume heating with the previously set firepower.
Daily Maintenance
Ensure the induction cooker is powered off and has cooled down before cleaning to prevent burns.
a. For cooking effect and panel cleanliness, use a soft damp cloth and neutral detergent.
b. Use a soft brush or miniature vacuum cleaner for air outlets. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth. Recommended cleaning every 3 months.
Precautions
Follow these safety precautions to avoid personal injury and property damage.
Usage Restrictions:
- Do not allow individuals lacking physical strength, perception, intelligence, or experience to use without supervision or guidance.
- Keep out of reach of children; do not let children use it as a toy.
- The appliance cannot be operated via an external timer or independent remote control system.
- Warning: If the panel surface has cracks, unplug immediately to prevent electric shock.
- Do not place directly on metal countertops, as this can cause overheating and damage.
- Keep away from walls and furniture (at least 10cm) to prevent heat damage, discoloration, or deformation.
- Place on a stable surface, away from humid environments, fire sources, or heat sources (minimum 30cm distance).
- Do not place near devices susceptible to electromagnetic interference.
- Use only compatible pots and pans (iron material, flat bottom, diameter 12cm-26cm) for optimal performance and safety.
- Ensure food is in the pot before heating to prevent dry burning.
- Be cautious of anti-scalding with pots/pans having non-insulated handles.
- Use only AC 220V power supply to prevent fire or electric shock.
- Do not pull the power cord when unplugging to avoid electric shock, short circuits, or fire.
- Do not insert or unplug the power plug with wet hands.
- Use a separate power socket with a rated current of at least 10A.
- If the power cord is damaged, contact the manufacturer or authorized service for replacement.
In Use:
- Do not heat sealed containers or foods directly on the product to avoid thermal expansion accidents.
- Ensure air intakes and outlets are clear of foreign objects to prevent overheating.
- Do not place metal objects (knives, lids, etc.) on the heating panel during use.
- Do not place paper, aluminum foil, or cloth on the heating panel.
- Maintain ventilation for unobstructed heat dissipation.
- Be aware of residual heat in the heating area after removing the pot; avoid touching to prevent injury.
- If the product malfunctions, stop use immediately and unplug the power plug. Professional repair is required after cooling.
Cleaning and Maintenance:
- Confirm the power cord is unplugged and the panel has cooled before cleaning.
- Do not immerse the induction cooker in water or expose it to water.
- Do not rinse air inlets/outlets with water.
- Prevent liquids and foreign objects from entering the unit.
- Do not use steam cleaners or steel balls for cleaning.
- For oily panels, use a soft damp cloth or neutral detergent. Avoid bleach or corrosive liquids.
- Regularly check air intakes and outlets for blockages.
- Use a soft dry cloth, soft brush, or miniature vacuum cleaner for dust removal from air inlets/outlets.
- Wipe the surface with a soft dry cloth after cleaning to ensure it remains dry.
- If not in use for extended periods, unplug the power cord and store in a moisture-proof, dust-proof, and insect-proof manner.
Other Precautions:
- Avoid strong impacts, heavy pressure, or sharp markings on the product.
- Do not modify, disassemble, or repair the product yourself to prevent fire, electric shock, or burns.
- In case of abnormality or malfunction, stop use immediately.
Micro-power Short-Range Equipment Declaration
This product uses NFC technology compliant with "Catalogue and Technical requirements of Micro-power short-range Radio transmitting Equipment". It is used for data transmission applications with an integrated antenna.
- Use scenarios and conditions must not be changed without authorization. Transmission frequency range and power must not be increased (including adding RF power amplifiers), and transmitting antennas must not be changed without authorization.
- No harmful interference shall be caused to other legal radio stations, nor shall protection from harmful interference be sought.
- This equipment is for industrial, scientific, and medical (ISM) applications and should withstand radio frequency energy interference or other legal radio station interference.
- If harmful interference is caused to other legal radio stations, stop use immediately and take corrective measures. Use can resume after interference is eliminated.
- Usage in electromagnetic environmental protection areas (e.g., aircraft, meteorological radars, satellite earth stations, military/civilian radio stations, airports) must comply with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Various model remote controls are prohibited within a 5,000-meter radius of airport runways.
- Environmental conditions (temperature, voltage) for micro-power equipment use are the same as for this product.
