Step 1: Performing the Factory Reset
Follow these steps to reset your Microsoft Lumia 535:
- Switch off the phone completely.
- Press and hold the Volume Down button.
- While holding the Volume Down button, connect your charger to the phone.
- Release the Volume Down button when you see an exclamation mark (!) on the screen.
- Now, press the following keys in sequence:
- Volume Up
- Volume Down
- Power
- Volume Down
The phone will then reset and reboot.
