Certification Information (SAR)

This mobile device complies with international guidelines for radio wave exposure. SAR tests are conducted at the highest power level across all frequency bands. The maximum SAR values are:

Usage ConditionMaximum SAR Value (over 10g)Frequency Bands Used
Against the head0.65 W/kg3-slot GPRS1800 + WLAN2450
Separation distance of 1.5 cm from the body0.53 W/kg2-slot GPRS850 + WLAN2450

The device meets RF exposure guidelines when used against the head or at least 1.5 cm from the body. Ensure any carry case or holder maintains this separation distance and does not contain metal. Network connection quality affects data transfer speed. Follow separation distance guidelines during transmission. General use SAR values are typically lower due to automatic power reduction. For the latest SAR information, visit sar.microsoft.com. The World Health Organization (WHO) states that current scientific evidence does not require special precautions for mobile device use. For reduced exposure, limit usage or use a hands-free kit.

Original Accessories

Approved accessories are available from dealers. For details, see www.microsoft.com/mobile/accessories. Keep accessories out of reach of small children. Pull the plug, not the cord, when disconnecting power. Ensure vehicle accessories are properly mounted and functioning. Installation of complex car accessories should be done by qualified personnel.

Battery

(1) Battery talk and standby times are estimates and depend on various factors including SIM card, features used, battery age, temperature, and network conditions. Features like ringtones and hands-free calls consume battery.
