The Legendary Five-Cylinder Engine

The 2025 Audi RS 3 is powered by Audi's renowned five-cylinder engine, producing 394 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds. With the optional Dynamic plus package, the top track speed increases to 180 mph. The engine's unique 1-2-4-5-3 firing order produces a distinctive sound and exceptional performance. This engine has a storied history in Audi's motorsports and engineering, dating back to the 1976 Audi 100 (C2).

Dynamic Driving: RS Torque Splitter and RS Sport Suspension Plus

The innovative RS Torque Splitter enables active and variable torque vectoring between the rear wheels using electronically controlled multi-disc clutches. This system enhances cornering by directing torque to the outside wheel, reducing understeer. The RS sport suspension plus with dynamic chassis control (DCC) continuously adjusts damping force based on road conditions and selected Audi drive mode, optimizing ride experience and cornering capabilities.

These enhancements contributed to the RS 3 setting a new record on the Nürburgring-Nordschleife in the compact class, surpassing its previous 2021 record by over seven seconds.

Exterior Design

The 2025 RS 3 features a more aggressive exterior design with striking front and rear bumpers, a distinctive RS-specific diffuser with vertical reflectors, and new Anthracite Audi rings. The singleframe grille now has a rhombus pattern, and enlarged air intakes contribute to a dominant stance. Darkened headlight housings contain new Matrix-design LED headlights with an RS-specific daytime running light signature. The taillights also feature new digital signatures.

New wheel options include standard 19” 10-cross-spoke design wheels, with optional 19” wheels in a dark gray matte finish as part of the Carbon optic package. Ultra-high-performance summer tires are included with the Dynamic plus package.

Interior Enhancements

The interior balances performance and luxury with a new RS steering wheel featuring RS Mode satellite buttons and aluminum paddle shifters. The steering wheel is wrapped in perforated leather, with an optional Alcantara finish. Customizable, multi-color LED interior lighting enhances the ambiance, with features like rhombus-shaped laser cutouts on the door panels. Interior trim elements are finished in a dark gray metal Vanadium finish.

The vehicle comes standard with the SONOS premium sound system. Seat options include Black with Super Black stitching, or for the Design Package Plus, Black with Micrommata Green stitching or Black with Express Red stitching. The accent color of the stitching is echoed in the HVAC vents and the 12 o'clock position of the steering wheel.
