Installation Steps
Step 1: Prepare Vehicle
Remove the license plate from the bumper. Unplug the license plate lights, trailer plug, and sensors (if equipped). Unplug the wiring harness leading to the bumper and move it away. Note: The bumper is designed to be compatible with larger 7-wire universal trailer harness plugs only.
Step 2: Support and Remove Original Bumper
Place blocks or jack stands under the bumper to support it during mounting bolt removal. Once the bumper is safely supported, remove the factory hardware attaching the bumper to the end of the frame and remove the bumper assembly. ⚠️ WARNING! Assistance is required to hold the bumper in place during hardware removal to prevent bumper from falling.
Step 3: Remove Factory Components
Remove the wiring harness, license plate lights, trailer plug, spare access lock, and sensors (if equipped) from the factory bumper.
Step 4: Install Sensors or Plugs
Step 4.1: Models with bumper mounted sensors
a. Select one sensor. Remove the original silicone seal from the sensor. Slide the included larger Foam Sensor Seal over the front of the sensor. Insert the sensor with seal into the sensor mount in the Rear Bumper. Place the Thick Foam Spacer over the end of the sensor. Push the Sensor Retaining Cap onto the sensor mount and lock into the mounting holes. Repeat for remaining sensors. Install wiring harness from the factory bumper.
Step 4.2: Models without bumper sensors
a. From the front of the bumper, push the included Plastic Plugs into the sensor mounting holes. b. Install wiring harness from the factory bumper.
Step 5: Install License Plate Lights and Trailer Plug
Install the license plate lights and trailer plug into the Bumper. Use the included Wire Ties to secure the factory wiring harness to the Bumper as necessary.
Step 6: Install LED Cube Light Mounting Brackets
Select one LED Light Mounting Bracket. Attach the LED Light Mounting Bracket to the back of the Bumper using the included (2) 6mm Allen Head Bolts, (2) 6mm Lock Washers, (2) 6mm Flat Washers, and (2) 6mm Flange Nuts. Hand-tighten hardware at this time.
Step 7: Attach Cube Style LED Lights
Attach the cube style LED light to the mounting bracket. Follow the light manufacturer's instructions for adjustment and to properly wire the light to the vehicle's electrical system after bumper installation. Repeat for remaining LED cube style lights.
Step 8: Install Factory Triple Bolt Plate
Insert the factory triple bolt plate (removed in Step 2) into the Passenger/Right Mounting Bracket. Thread (3) 14mm Plastic Retainers onto the bolt plate to hold it in position during bumper installation. Attach the Passenger/Right Mounting Bracket assembly to the frame, reusing factory hardware removed in Step 2. Snug but do not fully tighten hardware at this time. Repeat this step to install the Driver/Left Side Bracket to the frame.
Step 9: Attach Bumper Assembly to Mounting Brackets
With assistance, attach the Bumper assembly to the Mounting Brackets using (4) 10mm Flat Washers and (4) 10mm Nylon Lock Nuts. Temporarily support the weight of the Bumper. ⚠️ WARNING: To avoid possible injury or damage to the vehicle, do not proceed until the bumper is fully and safely supported.
Step 10: Final Adjustments and Tightening
Slowly open the tailgate and check for clearance. Level and adjust the Bumper, then fully tighten all hardware.
Step 11: Connect Wiring Harnesses
Attach the wiring harness to the sensors, lights, and trailer plug. Use the included Wire Ties to secure the wiring harness to the bumper and frame as necessary.
Step 12: Attach License Plate
Use the included (2) Plastic plugs to attach the license plate to the Bumper.
Step 13: Periodic Inspections
Perform periodic inspections of the installation to ensure that all hardware is secure and tight.

Procedure
⚠️ READ INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. DRILLING IS REQUIRED. ELECTRICAL KNOWLEDGE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
- Open hood and disconnect battery.
- Unwrap preassembled wiring harness. Disconnect the plug in the harness leading to the lighted switch. Locate a suitable mounting location for the switch. Drill a 3/4" hole in the panel to mount the switch. IMPORTANT: Do not drill any holes in the panel until the back of the location is properly checked for clearance. Use of safety goggles is required.
- Run the switch harness through the firewall on the vehicle. Drill a hole through the firewall as required for the harness plug. It is highly recommended to use a rubber grommet (not included) to protect the harness. Feed the switch harness plug through the hole in the firewall. Seal the firewall with silicone as necessary.
- Attach the Relay and main harness to a suitable location near the battery (e.g., firewall or inner fender). Do not connect to the battery at this time.
- Attach the switch plug to the switch harness and tie the harness away from anything that could damage it.
- Run the prewired light harness down to the light. Plug the harness into the prewired plug on each light. Tie the wiring harness away from anything that could damage it.
- Attach the fused red positive and black negative wires on the main harness to the battery. NOTE: Attach the black negative wire to the negative terminal on the battery or a suitable chassis ground.
- Reattach battery cables to the battery. Installation is complete.
- Adjust lights for best results and fully tighten all hardware.
- Perform periodic inspections to ensure that all hardware is secure and tight, and all wiring harnesses are properly secured and free from excessive movement.
