Important Caution: Do not insert objects like coins, paper clips, or stickers between the reader's boot and the base charger. Do not apply stickers on the sides of the reader's boot. Areas indicated by red arrows in the original image are affected.

Regulatory Information
All models are designed to comply with rules and regulations in their sales locations and will be labeled as required. Modifications not expressly approved by Datalogic could void the user's authority to operate the equipment.
Statement of Agency Compliance (FCC)
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Datalogic could void the user's authority to operate the device.
FCC Class B Compliance Statement
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class B digital device pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installation. If interference occurs, users are encouraged to try correcting it by: reorienting the receiving antenna, increasing separation between equipment and receiver, connecting equipment to a different circuit, or consulting a dealer or technician.
FCC RF Exposure Information
This equipment complies with FCC radiation exposure limits for an uncontrolled environment. It should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 5mm between the radiator and your body. This transmitter must not be co-located or operating with any other antenna or transmitter.
IC Canada Notice
This device contains licence-exempt transmitter(s)/receiver(s) that comply with Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada's licence-exempt RSS(s). Operation is subject to the following conditions: 1. The device may not cause interference. 2. The device must accept any interference, including interference that may cause undesired operation. 3. A separation distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between the antenna and all persons to comply with safety requirements for mobile RF exposure conditions in accordance with RSS-102 Issue 5.

Reader PowerScan PM9600 Canada Notice (RF Exposure Safety)
According to "RSS-102 Issue 5 (2015-03)", the device operates below applicable output power levels for the specified separation distance. Evaluation was done at 5mm.

To comply with FCC RF exposure compliance requirements, for mobile configurations, a separation distance of at least 20 cm must be maintained between the antenna of this device and all persons.

The CU conformity certification has been achieved, allowing the product to bear the Eurasian mark of conformity.

Frequency Band Used: 433.050-434.790 MHz; 902-928 MHz; 2400-2483.5 MHz
Maximum output power: < 10 dBm for 433MHz and 910MHz; < 20 dBm for Bluetooth.
Power Supply Requirements
This device is intended for connection to a UL Listed/CSA Certified computer supplying power directly, or to a UL Listed/CSA Certified Power Unit marked "Class 2" or LPS power source rated 10-30V minimum 1.5A.
Argentina Power Supply Statement

Laser Safety Regulations
The aiming system of this device meets Class 2 laser safety requirements. Laser information is on the scanner label. The laser scanner conforms to CDRH 21 CFR 1040 and EN60825-1 at the date of manufacture. The laser light is visible and emitted from the output window.
Standard Laser Safety Regulations:
This product conforms to CDRH 21 CFR 1040 and EN 60825-1 at the date of manufacture. Opening the device for installation, use, or maintenance is not necessary.
⚠️ WARNING: Use of controls, adjustments, or procedures other than those specified herein may result in exposure to hazardous visible laser light.
The product uses a low-power laser diode. While momentary exposure to the beam is not known to cause biological damage, avoid staring at the beam like any strong light source (e.g., the sun). Avoid directing the laser beam into an observer's eye, even through reflective surfaces.
CAUTION: The PowerScan™ Handheld Reader is not user-serviceable. Opening the case can cause internal damage and will void the warranty.
