Printing a Mounting Template

Printing Instructions

NOTICE: It is not recommended to print a mounting template independently. Always use the template provided within the product box.

If printing the template yourself, precise adherence to these instructions is mandatory. Printing large templates requires a sufficiently large paper size and a compatible printer. Incorrect paper size, printer capabilities, or failure to follow these steps can lead to an inaccurately sized template, resulting in an incorrect cutout (either too large or too small) on your boat's mounting surface.

NOTE: Print dialog options and their locations may vary across different Adobe Acrobat versions and other PDF viewing applications. Ensure scaling is set to 100% before printing.

1. Select File > Print.
2. Enter '2' in the 'Pages to Print' field.
3. Select 'Actual Size' under 'Page Sizing & Handling'.
4. Verify that the selected paper size is larger than the template dimensions.
5. If the paper size is insufficient, select 'Properties' and choose a 'Paper Size' that is larger than the template.
6. After printing, use a ruler to measure at least one dimension line on the template to confirm it printed at 100% scale.

Print Dialog Description

The print dialog interface typically includes fields for selecting the Printer, number of Copies, and Pages to Print. Key settings for accurate template printing are found under 'Page Sizing & Handling'. Ensure 'Actual Size' is selected, or a custom scale of 100%. Verify that the printer's selected paper size is adequate for the template. Options for Orientation (Auto, Portrait, Landscape) and Comments & Forms are also available. A 'Page Setup...' button may allow access to further printer properties.

Mounting Template Diagram

This section describes the visual layout and dimensions of the Garmin ECHOMAP UHD2 7Xsv mounting template.

The template outlines the physical footprint for the device. Key dimensions are provided:

• Overall Width: 204.5 mm (8 1/16 in.)
• Overall Height: 118.7 mm (4 11/16 in.)

Specific mounting hole locations and required drill sizes are indicated:

• Four corner mounting points are marked for screw installation.
• A larger drill hole is specified at the top left, with a diameter of Ø 12.7 mm (1/2 in.), suitable for mounting hardware. A graphic suggests a [drill bit].
