Supplied Parts

Temperature Display and Setting

The thermostat normally displays the current ambient temperature.

To view the setpoint temperature, briefly press the Up or Down button. The setpoint will be displayed for 5 seconds, and the screen will illuminate for 12 seconds.

To change the setpoint temperature, press the Up or Down button until the desired value is displayed.

The display may show a 'Fan' indicator if the thermostat is configured for fan-forced heater control with 5-minute cycles.

A heating intensity indicator may appear when heating is active. No indicator appears when heating is off.

Removing the Faceplate

Safety First: TURN OFF POWER OF THE HEATING SYSTEM AT THE MAIN POWER PANEL TO AVOID ELECTRIC SHOCK.

Loosen the screw holding the faceplate to the base. This screw is captive and cannot be removed completely. Remove the faceplate from the base by pulling the bottom half away.

Visual Description: Diagram illustrating the removal of the thermostat faceplate. It shows a screw being loosened and the faceplate being pulled away from the base.

Wiring

Connect one thermostat wire to the heater (load) wire and the other to the power supply wire using the provided solderless connectors for copper wires. The thermostat wires are non-polarized, meaning either wire can connect to the load or the power supply.

Visual Description: Diagrams illustrating thermostat wiring. One shows a '2-wire installation' with two wires connected to the thermostat base. Another shows a '4-wire installation' with four wires connected.

Note: All cables and connections must conform to local electrical codes. Use special CO/ALR solderless connectors when connecting with aluminum conductors.

Installing the Faceplate

Install the base onto an electrical box.

Reinstall the faceplate onto the base and secure it in place with the screw.

Note: Keep the air vents of the thermostat clean and unobstructed at all times.
