The complete RideControl Plus set includes the main display unit, a mounting bracket, one CR2032 battery, and two spare CR2032 batteries.

Button Function

The device features three buttons: Button 1 (left), Button 2 (central), and Button 3 (right).

• Button 1: Previous Data Field, Clear current data
• Button 2: Wake up, Enter setting mode
• Button 3: Next Data Field

How to Setup

Please insert CR2032 battery to computer before activating RideControl Plus.

A. Wake up

• Press the central button.

B. Pair with your E-bike via ANT+

• Turn on E-bike power and wake up the RideControl Plus computer.
• It is recommended to take the E-bike away from other ANT+ signals to avoid RideControl Plus finding other sensors.
• Press the Reset Button on the back side to enter pair mode. The screen will show "Pair" when RideControl Plus finds the E-bike.
• Auto search: No need to pair with the same E-bike next time when waking up RideControl Plus.

C. Setting wheel circumference

• Wheel circumference setting is not necessary when pairing with an E-bike system. When using a speed sensor on a regular bike, please set the wheel circumference.
• To enter setting mode, it is not necessary to connect to the E-bike; you can operate solely with RideControl Plus.
• Press the right button to navigate to the remaining range/distance/ODO data field.
• Press and hold the central button for 2 seconds to enter setting mode.
• When "LEN" is displayed on the upper screen, press and hold the central button for 2 seconds. The screen will show "SEt". Press the left and right buttons to adjust the wheel size.
• After setting, press the central button to confirm. The computer will remain in setting mode. If not confirmed by the user, the system will automatically set and return to the original data field after 2 seconds.

D. Setting metric/imperial unit

• To enter setting mode, it is not necessary to connect to the E-bike; you can operate solely with RideControl Plus.
• Press the right button to navigate to the remaining range/distance/ODO data field.
• Press and hold the central button for 2 seconds to enter setting mode.
• After wheel size setting, when "Unit" is displayed on the bottom screen, press and hold the central button for 2 seconds. The screen will show "SEt". Press the left and right buttons to adjust the unit.
• After setting, press the central button to confirm. The computer will remain in setting mode. If not confirmed by the user, the system will automatically set and return to the original data field after 2 seconds.

How to Operate

A. Assist level

• The upper screen will show L1 to L5, which corresponds to the E-bike assist level.
• The upper screen will show "A" when switching to Smart assist mode (GIANT E-bike only).

B. Clear current riding record

• Press and hold the left button for 3 seconds.

C. Sleep

• RideControl Plus will enter Sleep mode 90 seconds after not receiving a signal from the E-bike.

Warranty

Giant warrants for the original owner of the RideControl Plus (incl. mounting kit) to be free from defects in material and workmanship for the period of two years from the date of purchase. Please note: batteries are excluded from warranties. This warranty applies only when the RideControl Plus is purchased new from an Authorized Giant Dealer.
