This user manual contains important safety recommendations and operating information. Please follow all instructions carefully.

  1. Avoid installing the unit in locations with high temperatures, humidity, or excessive dust.
  2. Keep the unit and its accessories out of reach of children.
  3. Do not drop the unit or expose it to impacts, as this may cause damage.
  4. The manufacturer is not responsible for any data loss due to damage, repair, or other reasons.
  5. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit yourself, as this will void the warranty.
  6. Do not use alcohol, solvents, or gasoline to clean the unit's plastic parts or display. Use a dry, soft cloth only.
  7. Avoid contact with liquids.
  8. This product is designed for use with 12-volt DC negative-ground electrical systems only. Using it in positive-ground systems or with voltages other than 12V may cause damage to the vehicle and the unit.

Unit Installation:

  1. Install the mounting sleeve into the standard 1DIN opening provided by the vehicle manufacturer. If the original slot is 2DIN, use AURA brand adapter plates.
  2. Use a screwdriver to bend the metal tabs on the mounting sleeve outwards to secure it in place.
  3. Check electrical connections and connectors. Connect the main connector to the unit. Test the system's functionality before securing it in the mounting sleeve.
  4. Insert the unit into the mounting sleeve and push it in until it clicks into place.

Note: Some vehicles (e.g., TOYOTA, HONDA) may use screws to mount the unit to existing brackets. In such cases, the mounting sleeve is not used.

Connections

Power Connection:

  1. Ensure your vehicle's onboard voltage is +12V.
  2. Remove the fuse from the unit before connecting wires.
  3. Connect the Yellow wire (A4) to a constant +12V power source.
  4. Connect the Red wire (A7) to the ACC terminal of the ignition switch.
  5. Connect the Black wire (A8) to the metal chassis of the vehicle (ground).
  6. Connect the Blue wire (A5) to the remote turn-on input of an amplifier or antenna control.
  7. Connect the Orange wire (A6) to a circuit that receives +12V when the parking lights are on.
  8. Connect the remaining wires according to the diagram.

Note: To prevent excessive current draw and unstable operation, if connecting the Red wire (A7) to a constant +12V source (along with the Yellow wire A4), set the "CAR ACC" function in the "SYSTEM" menu to "NO".

External View and Controls

1. Power / Source: Turn the unit on/off or select the source.

2. Next Track / Fast Forward / Radio Tuning: Advance to the next track, fast forward, or tune to the next radio station.

3. Volume / Settings / Confirm: Adjust volume, cycle through settings, or confirm selection.

4. Display Info / Display Off: Show information on the display or turn the display off.

5. IR Receiver: Infrared receiver for the remote control.

6. LCD Display: Shows information about the current source, track, and settings.

7. USB Port: Connect USB devices for playback and charging.

8. Answer/End Call / Voice Assistant / Radio Band: Answer or end calls, activate voice assistant, or switch between FM bands (FM1/2, FM3).

9. Previous Track / Rewind / Radio Tuning: Go to the previous track, rewind, or tune to the previous radio station.

10. Back: Return to the previous menu or screen.

11. Microphone: Built-in microphone for hands-free calls.

12. Mute: Temporarily silence the audio output.

13. Track Search: Search for tracks.

14. Preset 1 / Next Folder: Recall preset station 1 or go to the next folder.

15. Preset 2 / Previous Folder: Recall preset station 2 or go to the previous folder.

16. Preset 3 / Repeat Mode: Recall preset station 3 or select repeat playback mode.

17. Preset 4 / Random Playback: Recall preset station 4 or select random playback mode.

18. Preset 5 / Pause: Recall preset station 5 or pause playback.

19. Preset 6 / Scan Tracks: Recall preset station 6 or scan tracks.

20. Reset: Reset settings to factory defaults.

21. AUX Input: Connect external audio sources via 3.5mm jack.

Remote Control

Removing Battery Protection: The remote control comes with a battery protection tab (CR-2025). Pull the tab to enable the remote.

Replacing Battery:

  1. When the battery is depleted, replace it as shown in the diagram.
  2. Press and hold the lock (1), then pull the battery tray out (2).
  3. Replace the old battery with a new one, observing correct polarity (+ on top).
  4. Insert the battery tray back into the remote control.

Basic Operations

Power On/Off: Press any button to turn the unit on. Press and hold the (1) SRC button to turn it off.

Volume Control: Rotate the volume knob (3) to adjust the volume level.

Source Selection: Press the (1) SRC button to cycle through playback sources: Radio -> USB -> AUX -> Bluetooth.

Mute: Press the (12) button to mute the audio.

Menu Navigation: Press the volume knob (3) and rotate to select a menu section: AUDIO (Sound Settings), DISPLAY (Display Settings), TUNER (Radio Settings), BLUETOOTH, SYSTEM (System Settings). Press the volume knob (3) again to enter the selected section.

Sources

USB

Connect a USB flash drive to the front panel USB port. MP3 and FLAC files will play automatically. The USB port also supports charging mobile devices (1A charging current).

Note: The quality of playback may vary depending on the FLAC, MP3, and WAV files used. Some files may not play correctly.

Track Selection: Press (9) or (2) to go to the previous or next track.

Fast Forward/Rewind: Press and hold (9) or (2) to fast forward or rewind.

Play/Pause: Press (18) ►/II to pause playback. Press again to resume.

Scan Tracks: Press (19) INT to play the first 10 seconds of each track. Press again to stop scanning.

Repeat Playback: Press (16) to select repeat modes: RPT FLD (repeat all files in current folder), RPT ALL (repeat all files on the device), RPT ONE (repeat current file).

Random Playback: Press (17) to enable/disable random playback.

Folder/Track Navigation: Press (15) or (14) to switch to the previous/next folder. Press and hold (15) or (14) to jump 10 tracks backward/forward.

AUX

Connect an external audio source using a 3.5mm AUX cable (sold separately).

Settings Reset

Press and hold the (20) RST button for 10 seconds to reset all settings except sound settings.

Smartphone Application

Most device settings are accessible via the AurA Audio mobile application for Android and iOS.

To control the receiver with your smartphone:

  1. Install the AurA app from Google Play or the App Store.
  2. Connect your smartphone to the receiver via Bluetooth.
  3. Launch the AurA app to control the receiver.

Steering Wheel Control Programming (Direct SWC)

This function is compatible with vehicles that have resistive steering wheel controls where the common control wire is connected to the vehicle's ground. Ensure the steering wheel control wires are connected to the ISO connector (Section A) for proper operation.

Wiring: Connect the "WHEEL GND" wire to the black GND wire (A8). Connect the "WHEEL KEY A" and "WHEEL KEY B" signal wires to wires A1 (Brown/Black) and A2 (Brown) respectively.

Voltage Range: The operating voltage for connected buttons is 0.3V to 3.3V. The minimum voltage difference between buttons should be 0.3V to ensure proper recognition.

WARNING: The manufacturer does not guarantee correct operation with all vehicle models and is not responsible for any issues arising from incorrect installation. Consult your vehicle's dealer or a certified installer for proper wiring.

Programming Procedure:

  1. Select SYSTEM menu.
  2. Enter SWC section and choose a memory bank (SWC 1 or SWC 2).
  3. Enable the function by selecting YES.
  4. Press the "Back" button and select PROGRAM. The display will show "PRESS KEY 1".
  5. Press a button on the steering wheel to assign a function. The display will show "CHOOSE KEY 1".
  6. Select a button on the head unit to assign the function to. Upon successful assignment, "PRESS KEY 2" will appear.
  7. Repeat steps 1-2 for each button you wish to program.
  8. Press the volume knob to save the settings. The display will show "SAVED x KEYS" and return to the SWC menu.

Note: Up to 9 functions can be programmed. To disable programmed buttons, go to the SWC menu, select ENABLE, and choose NO.

The manufacturer guarantees the high quality and reliability of its products, provided that the technical requirements described in the operating instructions are met. This warranty is valid for one year from the date of purchase and covers defects arising from faulty materials or manufacturing. Warranty service is provided by the manufacturer, authorized dealers, and service centers within the Russian Federation.

The product is not covered by warranty if:

  1. Water or other liquids have entered the product.
  2. The warranty card is incomplete or missing.
  3. Improper installation (incorrect wiring, poor ventilation).
  4. The product has been tampered with or modified.

For disputes not covered by these terms, an Authorized Service Center will make a decision after technical inspection.

The warranty does not cover parts with limited service life (batteries, fuses, etc.). This warranty is void if the product is used for industrial purposes.
