Let's Get Started
Preparation:
- Find a flat, level, and stable surface free from vibrations to place the unit.
- Remove the tie-wrap securing the tonearm [4].
- Connect the AC adapter to the Power Jack [16] on the unit.
- Important: Do not plug the AC power adapter into the power outlet until all assembly steps are complete. Double-check all connections before powering on. Always turn off power when connecting or disconnecting components.
Operation:
- Turn the On/Off Volume Knob [10] to power on the unit. The Function Indicator [9] will turn RED when set to PHONO.
- Set the Function Switch [8] to the PHONO position.
- Set the Speed Switch [5] to the appropriate speed for your record (e.g., 33 RPM, 45 RPM, or 78 RPM).
- Place the record on the Turntable Platter [1]. Use the 45 RPM Adapter [3] if needed for records with larger center holes.
- Remove the stylus protector from the stylus assembly. Keep the stylus guard in place when moving or cleaning the turntable to protect the stylus.
- Release the Tonearm Hold Down Clip [13]. This secures the Tonearm [4] when not in use. Remember to lock it back when storing the unit.
- Use the Tonearm Lever [6] to gently lift the Tonearm [4].
- Carefully move the Tonearm [4] over the record to the desired starting position. Lower the Tonearm Lever [6]; the Tonearm [4] will slowly descend and begin playback.
- When the record finishes, use the Tonearm Lever [6] again to lift the Tonearm [4]. Return the Tonearm [4] to the Tonearm Rest. Release the lever [6] to let the Tonearm [4] rest. To temporarily pause playback, repeat these steps.
- Lock the Tonearm Hold Down Clip [13] to secure the Tonearm [4] for storage.
