Set the water hardness on your appliance according to the table below:
WATER HARDNESS °E | HARDNESS RANGE | MMOL/L | SETTING VALUE |
---|---|---|---|
0-8 | Soft | 0-1.1 | H:00 |
9-10 | Soft | 1.2 - 1.4 | H:01 |
11 - 12 | Medium | 1.5 - 1.8 | H:02 |
13 - 15 | Medium | 1.9 - 2.1 | H:03 |
16 - 20 | Medium | 2.2 - 2.9 | H:04 |

Regeneration of the Water Softening System
The water softening system regenerates automatically before the end of the main rinse cycle to ensure fault-free function. The table below shows consumption values during regeneration:
WATER CONSUMPTION (L) | REGENERATION AFTER X RINSE CYCLES | ADDITIONAL RUNNING TIME (MIN) | ADDITIONAL WATER CONSUMPTION (L) | ADDITIONAL POWER CONSUMPTION (KWH) |
---|---|---|---|---|
6.5 / 6.7 | 8 | 7 | 5 | 0.05 |
7.5 / 7.7 | 7 | 7 | 5 | 0.05 |
9.5 | 6 | 7 | 5 | 0.05 |
above 10.5 | 5 | 7 | 5 | 0.05 |
Consumption values are laboratory measurements based on the Eco 50° programme and a factory water hardness setting of 16-20°E.
Setting the Amount of Rinse Aid (Refer to Fig. 19)
Adjust the rinse aid ? amount if you notice streaks or water marks on tableware. A lower setting dispenses less rinse aid; a higher setting dispenses more.
Detergent Usage
Use only dishwasher-suitable detergents ?. Separate detergents, special salt ?, and rinse aid ? are recommended for optimal results.
- Follow the detergent manufacturer's instructions.
