Controller parameter changes must be performed by authorized technicians.

Inspections Prior to Use:

Weight Limitation:

Tire Inflation:

Temperature Considerations:

The controller operates between -25°C and +50°C. Extreme temperatures can affect battery performance and scooter operation.

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI)

Electronics and communication signals generate electromagnetic (EM) radio waves. Power scooters can be susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI), which may cause abnormal movement or erratic control. The U.S. FDA suggests that power scooters like the S19M may be susceptible to EMI from sources like radio stations, amateur radio, two-way radios, cellular phones, and alarm systems. This interference can cause the scooter to release brakes, move unintentionally, or damage its control system.

The scooter's immunity level is rated at 20 V/m, providing protection against common sources of radiated EMI.

To reduce the risk of unintended movement or brake release:

  1. Do not use hand-held personal communication devices (CB radios, cellular phones) while the scooter is on.
  2. Be aware of nearby transmitters (radio/TV stations) and avoid them.
  3. If unintended movement or brake release occurs, turn off the scooter as soon as it is safe.
  4. Adding accessories or modifying the scooter may increase susceptibility to interference.
  5. Report any incidents of unintended movement or brake release to the manufacturer, noting any nearby radio wave sources.

Turn off your powered scooter immediately when experiencing:

Warning: The scooter may disturb electromagnetic fields (e.g., shop alarm systems), and its driving performance can be influenced by electromagnetic fields.
