Important Safety Instructions

Please read these safety instructions carefully before using the product.

Verify Line Voltage Before Use

The JBL BAR 500MK2 is designed for use with 100-240 volt, 50/60 Hz AC power sources. Using the unit with a voltage other than that for which it is intended can create a safety and fire hazard and may damage the unit. If you have any questions about the voltage requirements for your specific model or about the line voltage in your area, consult your retailer or a service representative before plugging the unit into a wall outlet.

Do Not Use Extension Cords

To avoid safety hazards, use only the power cord supplied with your unit. Extension cords are not recommended for use with this product. If power cords are used with electrical equipment, do not place the power cord under blankets or carpets, or place heavy objects on them. Damaged power cords should be replaced immediately by an authorized service center with cords that meet factory specifications.

Handle the AC Power Cord Gently

When unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet, always pull the plug head and pull. Never pull the cord itself. If you intend to leave this speaker unused for an extended period, unplug the plug head from the AC outlet.

Do Not Open the Cabinet

This product contains no user-serviceable parts. Opening the cabinet may expose you to the risk of electric shock, and any modification to the product will void your warranty. If water accidentally enters the unit, unplug it from the AC power source immediately and consult an authorized service center.
