Operation Explained

Power On and Off: Slide the power push button to power on and off the device.

Adjust Volume: Short press the volume up/down button to turn up/down the volume.

Activate Menu: When the device powers on and not on the menu page, hold the multifunction button for about 2s.

Exit Menu: On the menu page, hold the multifunction button for about 2s.

Switch/Confirm Menu: On the menu page, short press the volume up/down button to switch submenus, and short press the play/pause button to confirm.

Switch Songs: Hold the volume up or volume down button.

Button Operations After Successful Bluetooth Pairing

Play/Pause/Call Handling: Short press the play/pause button to play/pause, answer/hang up/cancel a call.

Reject Phone Call: Hold the play/pause button for about 2s when there is an incoming call.

Activate Siri/Voice Assistant: Double press the play/pause button when the device is not on the menu page.

Bluetooth Reconnecting: Short press the play/pause button in the Bluetooth pairing state.

Clear Pairing: When the device is on, hold the volume up and volume down buttons simultaneously for about 5s.

Force Pairing: Hold the play/pause button for about 5s.

Connecting to Two Bluetooth Devices Simultaneously

After successfully connecting to device 1, hold the play/pause button for about 5s to enter pairing mode again. Search for "RETRO NANO" on device 2 and connect. Then, on device 1's Bluetooth settings, select "RETRO NANO" and reconnect. Alternatively, after connecting to device 2, turn the RETRO NANO off and then on again to reconnect to both devices.

Switch Working Modes

Double press the multifunction button to switch working modes:

• PC Mode: Double press the multifunction button to select PC mode. The RETRO NANO acts as a PC decoder and can be powered and charged via USB.
• BT Mode: Double press the multifunction button to select BT mode. The RETRO NANO acts as a Bluetooth receiver and can be powered and charged via USB.
• PHONE Mode: Double press the multifunction button to select PHONE mode. The RETRO NANO acts as a mobile phone decoder. USB charging is disabled in this mode (it will be forced to charge if it powers off due to low battery).

Note: The RETRO NANO can function without a battery when connected via USB.

Connecting to a Computer via USB for Decoding

When using the RETRO NANO in UAC mode, no driver installation is required on the computer. Simply select the RETRO NANO as the audio output device after connecting it.

Notes and Precautions

• Please use the included 3.7V rechargeable battery. Do not use non-rechargeable batteries for charging.
• Do not short-circuit or reverse the polarity of the battery.
• Do not place the battery with metal objects like keys or where children can reach it.
• Do not expose the device to extreme temperatures (above 45°C or below 0°C), or in enclosed high-temperature environments like cars.
• Do not use the battery if it is wet or swollen.
• Do not disassemble, hit, crush, puncture, weld, process, or incinerate the battery.
• Avoid charging the battery with chargers other than the one provided, as this may cause overcharging damage.
• If the product is not used for a long time, charge it periodically to maintain battery life.
