4 Detailed Settings
Enter Menu Setting mode by holding the [MODE] button for 3+ seconds. Settings are common to CH1 and CH2.
1. Output Polarity (Pol): Selects output polarity (Normally-open or Normally-closed). Affects output ON/OFF behavior.
2. Tuning Type (Type): Selects tuning method (e.g., 2-point tuning, 1-point tuning, tuning without workpiece). Fixes tuning method and external input allocation.
3. Response Time (SPd): Sets response time (Standard: 100ms, High-speed: 10ms, Super high-speed: 1ms). Longer response time recommended for stable detection.
4. Keep Function (YEEP): Sets output content during measurement errors (E-dr, E-brt, E-our) or before measurement confirmation. Options include: Both outputs OFF, Monitor output (clamp value), or outputting the last valid value.
5. Scaling (SCAL): Configures analog output range (4-20mA) relative to measured values. Allows setting initial and arbitrary measurement values for 4mA and 20mA outputs.
6. Background Suppression Function (SAR-E): Makes the sensor sensitive only to the workpiece during tuning. Restricts sensitivity and measurement values based on tuning sensitivity. Effective after setting ON and performing tuning. Smart tuning indicator (Blue) confirms activation.
7. Hysteresis width (HY5): Sets hysteresis width to prevent unstable judgment output. Standard setting provides initial width; User setting allows arbitrary width. Smaller width allows distinguishing small steps but may cause instability with low reflection.
8. Timer Function (TMR): Sets timer operation time (Off-delay, On-delay, One-shot, On/Off-delay). Used for specific output timing requirements.
9. Area Output (A-ER): Enables or disables area output. When enabled, output is ON when measured value is within Threshold L to Threshold H range. ON/OFF is reversed for "tuning without workpiece" mode. CH1 and CH2 switch simultaneously.
10. Zero Reset Memory (SA): Holds the zero reset value after power off (enabled) or resets on power cycle (disabled). Enabling writes to EEPROM (100,000 write cycles limit).
11. Eco Function (Eco): Saves power and turns off digital display after 30 seconds of inactivity in RUN mode. Normal display returns on button press.
