Product Overview

The Smappee EV Base is a floor-mounted electric vehicle (EV) charging station designed for commercial and business applications. It features two connectors and is engineered for straightforward installation with a simple cable configuration and an intuitive installation wizard. The integrated LED lighting system provides clear visual indication of the charging status and enhances visibility within parking areas. This model is exclusively available with sockets and supports various payment methods, including RFID and QR codes.

The EV Base integrates with Smappee's energy intelligence and charging management platform, particularly through the Smappee Business Plan, offering advanced features:

• Maximize the consumption of renewable energy sources and optimize overall energy efficiency.
• Reduce operational costs and minimize grid strain through dynamic load management.
• Enable remote monitoring of multiple chargers and implement priority charging schedules.
• Facilitate public charging by making chargers accessible via a CPO (Charge Point Operator) add-on, allowing for rate management and integration with Smappee Pay Stations.
• Ensure the charger and associated app are always up-to-date with the latest features and improvements through over-the-air updates.

Note: The Business Plan is a subscription service priced per connector per month. Additional add-ons are available based on specific business requirements.

The product is presented in a matte black, tall, rectangular form factor. A subtle white logo, resembling a simplified house or structure, is located at the bottom center of the unit. The upper section features thin vertical lines, possibly for design or ventilation.
