Instruction
1. Field Programmable Topology
The programmable driver can be programmed using special PC software and a programmer module. The setup involves a programmable driver, a programmer, and USB cables.
2. Dimming Interface Description
The dimming interface uses a 3-pin connector with the following assignments:
- Pin 1 (Vaux 12V): Provides a 10.8V-13.2V passive dimmer power supply.
- Pin 2 (Dim+/Program): Serves as the dimming/programming input (0-10V).
- Pin 3 (Dim-): DC Ground (OV).
3. Dimming Software Function Instruction
Adjustable Output Current (AOC)
Users can set the rated current between 10% of the maximum current and 100% of the maximum current. This is configured via software, allowing selection of module current and power.
Adjustable Startup Time (AST)
This function sets the "Start Fade up Time", which is the duration the driver takes to reach the user-set "Module Current". Valid values include 0s, 1s, 2s, 5s, 10s, 20s, 40s.
1-10V Dimming
Allows users to set the maximum and minimum output current and corresponding output voltage to define the 1-10V dimming curve. An input of 0-10V on the dimming interface controls the output. Default settings are: input <1V results in 10% output current, and input >10V results in 100% output current. The software interface allows selection of dimming interface type (1-10V, PWM, etc.) and setting of min/max dim levels.
PWM Dimming
An input PWM signal on the Dim+/Program pin adjusts the output current. Users can select "Positive Logic" or "Negative Logic" for the PWM signal. The PWM duty cycle can range from 1% to 99%, with frequencies from 500Hz to 5kHz, and signal voltages from 3V to 10V.
Integrated Dynadimmer
This feature allows dimming to predefined light levels based on nightly operating time. It supports up to 5 dimming levels and time intervals. The driver uses a virtual clock, synchronized by the duration of nightly operation. After 3 ON-OFF cycles, the driver calculates the virtual clock time. A valid ON-time is defined as continuous operation for 4 to 24 hours. The dimming plan takes effect from the 4th day after configuration.
Integrated Dynadimmer Time Based
This interface allows users to set up to 5 dimming levels with specific start and stop times for each level, enabling customized lighting schedules.
Constant Light Output (CLO)
The CLO feature ensures constant lumen output throughout the LED's lifespan by automatically adjusting the output current to compensate for LED depreciation. Users can enable CLO and set the "Set Module Working hrs" (SMW) to define the expected working hours. The driver then calculates the required output current based on the CLO percentage, which can be set between 85%-100%.
No Dimming
When selected, the driver operates in a constant output mode without any dimming functionality.
Set MODULE Working hrs (SMW)
Allows users to input the expected working hours of the LED module, which is used in conjunction with the CLO function.
